Beta Reader Group discussion

I want to release a free snippet of my upcoming novel and I was wondering if there are any beta readers who would like to look over the first 4 chapters. I would like to know what they think of what they read and any critiques are helpful. Is it common to have a beta reader for this type of thing? I don't know, but I would be most appreciative and grateful to anyone willing to help out.

The book I am writing is in the romance/erotica genre, but the first four chapters have more story than sex, and a bit of romance. It's also approximately 18k words in length. I can e-mail a PDF file to anyone who wants to take a peek.
