Modern Good Reads discussion

I can go into so many different themes when it comes to YA... But when it comes down to it-what is your ultimate favorite? That book you have to re-read until the cover falls off? That book you both love and dread as it nears the end?

In YA novels, its the series. And I know you know which series I am talking about.

Yep. Harry Potter.

Oh and one of my all time favorites that's more NA is The Edge of Never by J. A. Redmerski

Hunger Games 1,2,3, Lord of the Rings 1,2,3 and the Hobbit.

and are two of my favorites. The world building is phenomenal and the character growth is fantastic. I can't wait until the third book comes out later this year!

I loved the book Glass by Ellen Hopkins.

I love Vampire Academy and House of the night. Private and Pretty Little Liars I made my parents take me to the bookstore and buy the next books and the workers remember me and now I go to library mom goes for me bc im in school and its hard to get around and see the high shelves when you are in a wheelchair. I reserve them and my mom picks them up. My mom and dad are the best ever!

Percy Jackson and the Olympians and The Heroes of Olympus would have to be my favorite. I love these books. The characters are funny and the narrative is beautifully written!

Mine are,

1. Military or Merc romance even with genetic adv or physic ability (Feehan, Zanetti, L. Cross, Shannon McKenna).
2. Suspense and mystery (Robb, Michael's,)
3. Paranormal (Kenyon - Dark Hunters)

There are many other authors but if I have to give it by genre those would be how it broke down.
