I disappeared the General Folder because one can't move posts into it and it was bugging me. I created an Etcetera folder which is more or less the same thing, and moved posts over there, and moved some into relevant folders like Goodreads questions, misc. book talk, etc.

Oh no. Carol is in charge of our (bond) money, and now she's in charge of regulating the board's make-up. Pretty soon we'll have to start calling her Obamabonadie. (This is NOT a political comment).

Don't worry, Dan, I'm a benevolent dictator, as long as you play nice (which kind of let's you out, now that I think about it). Plus, you have the very fair and balanced Cheryl to overrule me (or at least change what I've taken the liberty of doing) if you can persuade her of your cause.

I think we should make her our ombudsman as well, and she can be ombudsmanobamabonadie.

You people are truly crazy.
Ann observed: "You people are truly crazy. "Like you thought a new site would make us less crazy?
Jan O'Cat, thinking if Carol does a lot of hands-on work as an ombudsman, she could be mano-a-manoombudsmanobamabonadie
Ms. O'CuriousCat:I have a feeling the only thing changed about our collective sanity here on Goodreads vs. on the AOL MT Board is more exposure.

Not to be too picky, especially if she didn't mind being misquoted, but it wasn't actually Ann who made the observation about the state of mental health of certain individuals.
Carol pickied: "Not to be too picky, especially if she didn't mind being misquoted, but it wasn't actually Ann who made the observation about the state of mental health of certain individuals."<> Like I'm supposed to be able to keep track of who's calling me crazy!

LOL ...just recognizing we all have slipped a cog or two now and then. It is what makes us so endearing! True. That would be a full time job.
