Kirsty (Kirstykat) | 5 comments Hello Long-bow! Thank you for your welcome - it may be a small group, but everyone seems very friendly so far! :) I looked through the groups and I was very choosy as I do not want to join too many. I liked your introduction and invite - it sounded different and with your name, very intriguing! I don't always want to be part of the normal, run-of-the-mill, ordinary groups, sometimes, I like something unusual! :)

Kirsty (Kirstykat) | 5 comments Today, London is BEAUTIFUL - not too hot, but sunny with a lovely breeze. Apparently, it isn't going to last - as usual.....!!!! :(

Kirsty (Kirstykat) | 5 comments So, Come on then! How is Canada and Australia....??? Go on, make me feel jealous!!! Even Australian WINTERS are better than our summers - and Canada is faaaaar too organised to let REAL snow get in their way....!!!! LOL!!! :)

Toda in Calgary we had 10cm of snow, brrr it was cold

I don't really know how to explain the weather here. It is just so random and retarded. E.g. One month of bitter cold weather in summer, next month of full time cyclone-ish weather (winds strong enough to uproot trees and stuff), followed by moths of scaling hot weather when it is meant to be winter o_O

At the present time, it is hot and with like 80% humidity and there are tons of flies (I put marigolds in my room so they will leave me alone, lol). In a few hours time it'll probably be cold with mosquitoes again. Trust me, you aren't missing out on much, haha :)

--------------------

Do you get much hail in London? And this is probably a stupid question but can you guys tell me the difference between snow, sleet and hail? Snow crystals form when it is freezing, and sleet occurs when it precipitates, then the rain hits cold air and freezes, right? Then sleet if sleet forms that way, how is hail formed? o_O Me confused. I don't mean to be an idiot, haha but my teacher never explained properly :P
