Grammar rule, I second that to the highest degree.
Maybe a character list? Like to see how many male characters there are as opposed to girls?

I can't even stress how much spelling and grammar mistakes bother me. Like Supernal mentioned, everything is equipped with spellcheck. If something I type is spelled wrong it underlines it in red in the comment box, so I simply right-click and spell it correctly. And grammar is just common sense, that's primary school knowledge right there.

I will say this about the grammar rule: when I’m tired, my spelling and grammar is atrocious, and when I spell-check; I always pick out the wrong spelling/word. Does that mean I would get into trouble?
Also: I think we should try and form a solid plot. I feel as though several people are trying to go somewhere with ideas, and it's a bit confusing for me.

And, not pointing fingers or anything, but some people's grammar is pretty atrocious. But I don't think it'd be fair for them to get in trouble over it.

Yes, we do need to build some sort of plot arc, but we have to be very careful to include everyone – or at least most of the characters. We also need to make sure that everyone’s OK with/understands the plot, and that the plot is "solid," as Jenny put it.
Who will come up with it, anyway?
(view spoiler)
By the way: when is the ball ending? I thought it was a one-day thing... and right now, it REALLY needs to be spiced-up...
(PS, Jenny: it’s me, isn’t it?)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I wasn't thinking like a huge plot with character roles and everything; people for sure can still have on-the-side things going on. I'm thinking just a general thing to follow and expand on as we go along.
Right now I kind of have a small idea in my head, but I don't think I can pull it off very well, and I don't know if it's even a good idea.
Um, anyways, I have two characters that I use a lot, Samael and Sebastian, an angel and a demon. My idea was that if this RP is set in a universe where supernatural things DO exist, there's got to be people who hunt them. (Note: I'm borrowing some ideas from the show Supernatural)
Basically, we've got a good side and a bad side of people. Most of the characters must to some harm to humanity to survive (suck blood, etc), and seeing as God and angels believe humanity to be the most important thing ever, the Angels would want to exterminate the majority of the supernaturals. Not to mention just straight up human hunters who've discovered all this. From another person's vision a school filled with a bunch of dangerous beings who probably won't grow up to be awesome and good and loving isn't very safe and needs to be destroyed.
SOOOOO (stay with me here) the angels are currently working on learning more about the school in hopes to attack, maybe saving a few special species.
I wrote that out horridly, and it probably has a LOT of plotholes in it, but yeah. That's the gist.

Skyra (creator: Tara) is in the middle of this, I understand? (By the way, my character – Sabine – is still pissed that Samuel said he was a banshee. And will most likely punch him in the face the next time she see's him. Just saying.)

Yeah, I thought the ball was only going to last till the 23 but I guess they're keeping it going. I don't know. I guess we'll have to see what the moderators are going to do about that :/
No, not at all, Helen. I haven't noticed any bad grammar from you. I actually really like how you roleplay (With nice, big paragraphs of activity). But some people aren't really like that and I guess maybe it's just their style but it does annoy me when people give like two words replies or just sentences riddled with terrible grammar.
(Kudos to anyone who actually read all that :P )

THANK YOU! That's so sweet of you. What an honour! (Especially since this is my first role-play.)
Actually, now that I think of it, I can see Sabine in that plot-line somewhere. You see: in the world of banshee’s, they are hunted by a male cult called the Bás Dubh. Banshees are hunted because, like the black widow spider, they mate and eat the male. So, yeah...
Jenny wrote: "That sounds pretty cool actually! It'd be awesome to see how everyone's abilities would play towards each side. I think you actually explained it quite well, Teadrinkingcat. But let me see if I got..."
Exactly. I still have to find out a way for everything to end, though.....
Perhaps we could also make a separate character sheet area for those of us who wish to make normal humans as hunters, or just people who roam around the school grounds and don't work or attend there, like Frederick.
Lol Sam's very ignorant. Being an angel, they aren't meant to have human emotions or weaknesses, but the longer they are subjected to Earth and other humans, the more vulnerable they become, and they can even lose their Grace. But yeah. Very ignorant.
I really think this group is great, and such a simply idea can be expanded greatly. ^_^

That's a really good idea! I think we should really work I that!

The more I think of it, the more the idea sounds absolutely wonderful. It has so much potential like a star-crossed lover idea, a huge battle (which would be epic on so many levels!) and things like that. We should definitely do this :D

That means a lot of violence.
Violence equals destruction. Destruction equals in betrayals, and heart-stopping moments filled with pain, horror, and sadness. War, fighting, and death to be seen at every corner, battle cries and the clang of metal against metal to fill the air.
Oh I can see it all!
I'm in.
If we want to make this work, I'm going to need more angel and demon characters.
I don't know if you guys want to make your angels or whatever based off the way I made Samael, but if anyone has any questions on the matter, I'm happy to answer any questions. I've also based Samael off the angels from Supernatural, obviously, so I can link up the angel page from the superwiki if anyone wants it.

So, I have a question: Demons are on the side of the school, correct? Or no?
I have a demon already, but she's a teacher.
Maybe there could be a way to incorporate other creatures? Like, I saw a post by Tea (hope you don't mind me calling you that) had Samael saying how all the students might be killed in an order. What if the order goes through, and some students decide to get involve mostly to save their skin.
You can get a lot of betrayal and pain from just that. Plus, the fight will be more epic than with just angels and demons.

So kind of like some of the supernaturals pledging their allegiance with the angels so they won't get killed?
lol it's fine calling me Tea. Most people do that anyway.

Ahhhh, it sounds so great!
I love that idea. Loads.
We would have to find out the benefit of them joining the angels, though. Seeing as with demons (who are already considered highly dangerous) don't care if someone ends up killing people after it all blows over.
Like, how would the angels know they are good, and what would happen to them after the war if they win/lose? Because the angels couldn't kill them, unless they decided to lie, which wouldn't be that unrealistic.

God, I love brainstorming with people: there can be the best ideas ever.
The biggest thing would have to be the reactions. Because every character is different, there'll be a spectrum of emotional, psychological, and physical responses to the littlest thing when the characters have to choose a side to stay alive.
And because they aren't human, they don't die as quickly, so when the painful bits start, there'll be a lot more drama instead of the standard, "oh look he's dying, now he's dead, now we need to get revenge," and so forth.

Not to mention there are different ways to kill different things. We also have to figure out how to make the playing field fair for the demon/supernatural side.
With Samael's species of angel (I'm not sure if we have more on here, like with demons) they are all equipped with angel blades that can kill anything, even angels themselves. I think the only time they can't kill something is if it's overly powerful, like if something had a thousand souls stuffed inside of them.
We'd have to find something that the supernatural side could have that could kill angels, too. Like maybe someone could find a type of remedy or something that they could incorporate into knives, guns, swords, and other weapons.
Also, I was thinking if someone could make Samael's human. As he is a guardian angel, his main goal is to find his human to watch over and protect. I was thinking maybe his human could be a hunter that comes to find in the battle, and that's when Sam sees him/her, causing a huge distraction for the both of them.

A remedy or potion or poison would definitely work and I think would be a great idea for the supernatural side!
Oh; I also just remembered, the demons have hellhounds on their side, which is another big advantage. I don't think they can kill angels (as they don't have souls) but they would do some serious damage on the supernaturals that side with them, along with the hunters.

But like you, I tend to push the angels off to the side.
But introducing the angellic realm as the villains...
I love it.
Creo has had a previous run-in with a villainous angel, and I have a few in my head.
And perhaps the Golden Demon will be causing this to cause enough warfare to raise him from death.
I like being the villain.
Being a villain is fun.
You can strip them down to the simplest form, and they could still be complex. They have a special sort of reasoning to them that makes it so much more fun. At the best of times for them, they could be at the worst part of themselves. When things go sour, you see how fragile and childish they are or why they do the things they do.
I just feel like the villains are the ones that feel emotions the hardest.

Hmm... I have Sam available. Seb's kind of stuck in limbo at the moment. What should be his introductory into the area?

If you’re still looking for someone to create Sam's human, I could do it for you if you like. Under you're approval, obviously.
Actually, may I ask someone to create a Bás Dubh*? If there's going to be sides, the Bás Dubh will most likely be with Samuel, and so Sabine will be with the school and Sebastian. I’ll give you more information I about them if someone accepts the challenge.
The character needs to be a guy, so… Any takers?
I don’t actually know what side Henry will be on, though. Being a dullahan, he is a type of hunter/assassin but also a supernatural. Poor Henry. Maybe I’ll keep him neutral…
What I like about this idea, is that you understand why the angels are killing them, and you can see why the supernaturals don’t want to die without a fight.
Very interesting indeed…

Feel free to make the human, Helen!
It can be a boy or girl, either or. Just make sure to make it a non-supernatural hunter. Typically hunters have reasons of getting into the business, often times someone close to them dies via a supernatural, or they can merely grow up in a hunting family. I think that's about all you need to keep in mind... Oh, and they have to be the exact same age as Samael.

(Oh, I'm going to have so much fun making this.)
OK... so where do I create my master piece? In the Student Character discussion or am I supposed to put him/her somewhere else?
