Yalan | 16 comments Okay, so I didn't want to wait a week to get ONE question, so I thought I'd pose several small questions in one post, and if there are any good ones, we can create a post for it. If you do make a new post, please refer to this one so that others might do so as well.

Some of them are pretty lame, I know, and not worth answering. (I got them on Google) Just some stuff to ponder or agitate more discussion in this group.

1.Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?
2.If it is called a boxing "ring" why is it square?
3.If you take an Asian person and spin him around several times does he become disoriented? (I would post this one)
4. Why is it that when you transport something by car it is called shipment, but when you transport something by ship it's called cargo?
5.If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
6.What was the first human's first thought?
7.If life could be perfect, what three words would describe it?
8.What are actually stronger: actions or words?
9.Why is it that the fools are sure of themselves but the wise full of doubts?
10. If God came to visit you, what would you say? (sorry to any atheists, I'm not trying to enforce a religion)
11.Is saying nothing saying something?
12.Whether your glass is half-full or half-empty, what does your glass contain?
13.Does everything happen for a reason?
14.At what point does a person switch from being killed to assassinated?
15.If you one day discovered that everything you thought was true (religion, beliefs, opinions, history etc.) was wrong, how would you feel and what would you do?
16.If you had 5 people that needed to be saved from a fire, but only 4 you could save, which would you: old lady, the baby, pregnant woman, teenage boy, middle aged man. And why? You know that last person is going to die, is that the same as killing them?
17.Why were we created with the need to eat, drink, sleep, and breathe?
18.Is immortality a blessing or curse?
19.Is being a boy or girl better/easier?
20.Is Santa jolly because he knows where all the bad girls live?

Feel free to post your own questions as well! :)

1.I bet it's coated with something special.
2.The boxers who created it took too many punches to the head.
3.Haha, well I'm 1/4 Japanese, and I know I become disoriented.
4.I have no clever response to this.
5.Haha, zing! Yes! Yay for government jokes!
6.Very interesting. Because they had feelings and ideas, but no words or history to define or describe them with. This is almost unfathomable. Definitely worth posting a separate blog about.
7.Perfect. Flawless. Immaculate.
8.Actions. This is definitely good for another post as well. But words can be harsh and hurt someone's feelings, but actions show a stronger dedication to ideas/feelings/etc. and can actually hurt people physically, not just emotionally.
9.Because fools never question themselves in any ways, while the wise know that to be unwise.
10.I'd say, "Holy crap, you are real! Well, I hope you let me into heaven, no hard feelings!"
11.It depends on the circumstances.
12.Water!
13.Nope, stuff just happens. People like to believe everything happens for a reason because they like the idea that there actually is a plan for their life. This is great for a separate post!
14.Assassinated is, apparently, saved for celebrities, particularly faces of our government.
15.I'd be pretty upset, and confused. Honestly, I have no idea what I would do, because even if I learned the truth, it would be extremely hard to abandom the beliefs of my whole life.
16.I absolutely hate questions like this because it makes me feel so terrible about myself, either way. What if I could save all of them, but sacrifice myself? Because I'd rather do that than feel responsible for their death. I'd save the pregnant lady, of course (two in one!) and I'd like to think I'd start with the youngers and move up, but I'd hate to think that I'm responsible for the early demise of a precious old womean.
17.I have no idea, but I like it. I think that subtracting the need to eat and drink would be unfair because then why would we need food? While it would get rid of starvation, it would eliminate those yummy treats! Wow, I'm selfish. But the need to sleep and breathe would be nice to abandon!
18.It depends on how dependent you are on society and people.
19.Who can ever really know? (Except hermaphrodites)
20.That makes Santa a sex offender....

These are so awesome Yalan, I love them! :D

Yalan | 16 comments Yay! A response! Thanks Jenny. :) Remember that you don't have to answer all of them if you don't want (placing the question number might be helpful), respond to responses, and post some questions.

Haha, I know, I just wanted to answer all of them :D

Myke (SarahPalin) | 183 comments #5 is incredible.

#9. I believe it was Socrates who said that the only true knowledge is to assume you know nothing.

#18. Eternal life would be the worst punishment one could give.

And Jenny, the fact that you would say "Holy crap" to God makes me giggle. I mean... it makes me chuckle. 'Cause chuckling is manlier.

Hahaha, the fact that you care about seeming manly makes me giggle. And the fact that you chose to replace it with chuckle of all words.
