((thanks))
Once Jasper entered his house, he locked his door and headed towards the living room. He lay Jasmine on it and set her bag next to her on the floor. Then he went to his bedroom to read. Jasper knew he should hunt but with the girl here...No...Not yet.
Once Jasper entered his house, he locked his door and headed towards the living room. He lay Jasmine on it and set her bag next to her on the floor. Then he went to his bedroom to read. Jasper knew he should hunt but with the girl here...No...Not yet.
She groaned and stirred a lil as her conciousness came back.
She would try to escape if I left her here alone. I can't risk that...What the hell did I just DO? He heard her moving in the living room and raised his head, but left her alone. She would figure this out on her own. Jasper sighed and threw the book to the opposite side of his bed, unable to concentrate. He exhaled and tried to hold his breath; her scent drove him nuts.
She got up in few moments and focused her vision. What had just happened? She tried remembering what had happened but in no success. She then got up and tried for the door to get out of this unknown place.
She was walking around now...Good thing I locked the door. It's only opened with a key for a reason. And I have the key...
She tried the door but found it locked Naturally this had to happen. Why isnt it like movies where I can just kick the door and it opens? She tried the windows but they had to be locked so she luckily found her bag and took out her phone. She thought desperately as she switched it on Please this had to work!!
Her phone? Damn it, forgot about that! Well, time to make an appearance then. Jasper stood and silently opened the door to lean against the doorframe. The light was dim and what light that was there cast shadows.
She almost shouted out in thankfulness to God to keep her phone working. Almost. She switched on the GPS and got her location then started sending the address to her friend to pick her up from there.
He sighed. "Even if you were to get ahold of them, they wouldn't be able to reach you."
She dropped her phone down after hearing the voice which she didnt really expect to hear. Wasnt this room just empty? she asked herself. She then casually said, strangely calm,"Um...hello?"
Casually, he stepped from the shadows and picked up her phone. "But just in case..." He opened the back and took the battery out then handed her back the phone.
She took the phone in a puzzled expression and got up then said, handing him the phone, "No use of the phone without battery. You can keep it too."
He shrugged. "Suit yourself," he said, taking it.
"Why am I here?" she asked, placing her hands on her waist.
"Because the others were trying to kill you," he answered honestly, though he said it as if he didn't care.
"Yeah. And I soo believe you. Now am completely safe. Thanks a lot. Now let me go." she spoke rapidly, not even caring if he heard or not. She just took her backpack and slung it over a shoulder while saying.
"And why is that?" she asked as casually as she could, yet her fear was clear in her voice. Fear from....numerous stuff. Including him.
He almost smirked at her fear. He was trying to be as normal as possible. "Because I don't need people knocking on my door telling me I'm a creep. I don't trust you enough to leave without telling someone."
"Er..." she said nervously, "Just let me go, please."
((Gtg. Wil be on at night. Its 5pm here.))
((Gtg. Wil be on at night. Its 5pm here.))
((Alright. I'll try to be on.))
"It's as if you didn't hear me. I don't need people knocking on my door asking why I brought you here. I like my privacy and would prefer to keep it that way. You are merely human and humans get around and talk, letting things slip in between the cracks. I'm not going to risk it."

"Uh....As if you arent human." she simply said, "Now if you are done then unlock the door, please."
He just shrugged and shook his head. "No can do. But feel free to make your self at home."
She stepped in front of him and said lounder than before, looking in his eyes angrily and sternly, "Mister, if you didnt hear me clearly then, I said I want to go back. Just open the fucking door."
He was almost amused. "Again, make yourself at home," he answered calmly before returning to the door to his room. Jasper stopped and pointed to the room next to his. "That's the spare bedroom. Feel free to use it." He went into his room and locked the door.
He sat on his bed and waited for the tantrum. Jasper felt bad for keeping her here, but everything he had said to her was true.
He sat on his bed and waited for the tantrum. Jasper felt bad for keeping her here, but everything he had said to her was true.
She sat on the couch and buried her face in her hands. She almost started crying but she controlled herself. There had to be a way out. She stood up and went towards Jasper's room and knocked.
His nose was in his book again when she knocked. "It's open," he called.
She opened the door and asked angrily, "For the last time, tell me why am I here??"
He sighed, setting down his book. "I told you. The others are trying to kill you."
"Others as in who? And why are they trying to kill me?" sh pressed on, her voice calm now.
"Others as in one not of your kind, and for the second, for the reasons they are not of your kind." He put his nose back in his book.
She pulled his book away from his hands and said sternly, "If you are not gonna let me go, I gotta know the answers."
"I told you," he sighed. "But the real job is for you to solve the puzzle. Well, maybe you shouldn't. Either way, you have to stay here. At least for the time being."
"What the heck is all this? Just let me go!" she shouted, throwing the book at his feet.
"I repeat, I CAN'T." When will this human get it through that thick skull of hers?? Well, you DID just kidnap her...
She walked out of the room in tears and sat on the couch and buried her face in her knees which were pulled up. This is so weird. He doesnt let me go but he lets me do everything else. Why is he so...he said he is saving her from people who were trying to kill her....who? she thought while running her hands through her hairs and she pulled them on one side when her hand pressed against the scars left by the bite and pain shot through her for a moment then it died. But that one moment was painful enough. She almost shouted out.
Alarmed she was trying to hurt herself escaping, Jasper rushed into the living room. Seeing she WASN'T trying to escape, he was confused and asked what was wrong.
"Wrong? Oh nothings wrong. Ive just been kidnapped by a stupid person who refuses to be categorized under humans. Oh and he says he saved me from other non-humans who were trying to kill me. Except this, everything's alright!" she shouted at him sarcastically
He growled, a low growl that was barely audible. "Well, I'm sorry. I thought you wanted to live! You sounded like you were in pain; what's wrong?"
Her lips shook and her teeth chattered lightly from his voice. He wasnt such a bad man till now, except few parts, but if others called him a creep, she didnt want to get to his bad side. She stared at him with her teary eyes.
Hid hid his face behind his hand and sighed. "Really? If you're not hurt, then just say it. That's all the question was."
She, this time knowingly, touch the side of her neck and cringed in pain immediately.
He stared at her blankly. "Oh," he said. There wasn't much to say on the topic without giving anything away.
"Oh??!! It hurts!!" she almost shouted at him in pain which subsided almost immediately she left the touch.
"Well, there's not much I can do or say, so I said 'oh.' Was there something you wanted me to say? Well, I suppose I can say that it wasn't me, and I can promise you that."
She looked at him in anger. How can he be so mean to her if he brought her there against her wishes? She got up from the couch and looked at him in his eyes in anger and said, "I want answers! I can't stay in an unknown place with a stranger who is called a freak!!"
"I'm only a freak to you. I said before if you were to go back there, you'd tell your story, possibly changing a few things, and people would be here calling me something I'm not. And if you want something to call me besides freak, you can call me Jasper. It would be highly appreciated." He was trying so badly to keep his cool, but her scent was still driving him mad.
"Jasper, huh? Sounds better than a freak." she said softly, "You can call me Jasmine."
He gave her a small bow, one arm behind him and the other across his abdomen: something that was still around when he was created. "Pleasure, Jasmine." I don't want to tell her anything, but I DID say she should figure out the puzzle herself. Maybe she'll take the hint about the old gesture or maybe she'll even just think I like old fashioned things. Or maybe... He sat down on the opposite side of the couch (a sectional) and sighed. "I don't get much company."
