Oh my gosh, I agree. Have you heard "Home" by Three Days Grace, yet? That is so Four(view spoiler)

Jed (specklebang) | 38 comments If you can find the out-of-print album Firestorm, Songs Of World War III by Leslie Fish, you have the ultimate dystopian music. Her voice is a bit annoying but the stories are, well, very dystopian.

message 10: by Jed (new)

Jed (specklebang) | 38 comments I contacted Leslie Fish and have permission to give away this dystopian album. I suggest you get it right now! It's free, legal and I went to the time, trouble and effort to make it available to everyone.

Here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/folder/dkxr5...

It is in MP3 format. Since I salvaged thius from a cassette, the volume is low and the quality a bit shady ;-). She said she might re-record this in the next couple of years and you can lear more about it and her other music and high IQ cats (really) here: http://lesliefish.com/

I've only rented the space to put this for a short term. So, sooner rather than later is suggested. Please let me know how you like it. I've ordered the songs starting with the breakdown of society, the war, the aftermath and the vengeance.

Andy Macdonald | 22 comments I think of Metric's "I'm Alive" when reading anything zombie related.

Kelly Hull (kellyvan) | 7 comments I wrote my entire dystopian novel to the imagine dragons album. So inspiring! Even credited them in the acknowledgements.

Kelly Hull (kellyvan) | 7 comments Radioactive is one of their songs.

Vardan Partamyan (vardanpartamyan) | 158 comments In my two novels, there are songs and lyrics that are intertwined with the story in ways expected and not so expected. In The After/Life it was the Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling Stones and in I, the Provocateur it was Johnny Cash's God'll Cut You Down.
