Scar and Ollie walked in together. "Oh shit... I'm a bit underdressed for this place"she said, looking over to Oliver
Oliver looked down, noticing he was just wearing his skinny jeans and a wife-beater. "Yeah, I guess we are. Screw it, there ain't a dress code," he said.
"Yeah. Lets sit down somewhere I guess. Says seat yourself"she said, going over to a table with ridiculously high spiny chairs and jumped up and sat down.
Oliver sat across from Scarlett and stifled a yawn. "God, I wish restaurants still had smoking sections," he said with a dramatic sigh.
((Sorry, it didnt post my comment))"Eh. They didnt have a no-smoking sign"she said, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it.
((Sokay, although now I've done ot to you -_-))"Come on," Oliver said as he snatched her cigarette. He stubbed it on his shoe. "It is against the law, be a really stupid thing to get a ticket over."
Oliver gave her a sneer, which quickly turned into a smile. He waved over a waitress. When she got there, she managed to not look too disgusted. They were handed menus and given a water caraffe.
Scarlett smiled goofily and looked through the menu. "I can't pronounce half of these 'food' items "
"Most of this stuff is meat! If I see escargot or caviar, I swear..."she said, trailing off and double checking the menu. "That's it, we are leaving"
"Squid?! You promised not to eat meat in front of me though!" She said, not leaving her spot. She sighed. "I guess I'll get a salad"
"Shut up and stop being a douchebag. "She said, crossing her arms. The waitress came back and began to pour a glass of water at a ridiculously tall height. She accidentally dumped water onto Scarlett.
"Ah!"she yelped when the cold water touched her pale skin. She was wearing a white tank top and it looked like she won a wet t-shirt contest. She ran to the bathroom in embarrassment and tried to try up the best she could.
"Goddam it," Oliver mumbled, placing his head in his hands. "Nice job, really good work," he said in disgust, shaking his head at the bumbling waitress. He walked to the women's room door. "Hey, Scar, I've got a jacket in your car from last weekend, do you want it?"
"Yes please. I prefer not looking like a slut who was in a wet t-shirt contest"she said, covering her chest by crossing her arms. It wasn't much coverage, but somewhat worked.
He ran outside and got into Scerlett's trunk. He dug through all of her useless crap until he found his somewhat tight leather jacket. He went back inside, found her, and handed it over.
"Thanks"she said, uncovering her soaked chest. She pulled on the jacket slowly, because her wet tank top was wet and made friction.
Oliver made sure to look away, hard as it was. She's my friend, can't be staring at her chest. No matter how amazing it may be.He thought.
"If you want, we could totally go. I know it's embarassing," Oliver said as he put his hand on her shoulder.
He returned the smile brightly. They walked to the Matri'D. "Harada, reservation for two," Yoji said. The man nodded and lead them to the outdoor deck, which gave a view of the ocean and Mako Beach.
"Wow," the view took her breath away. She was so impressed and couldn't believe she was actually on a date.
Yoji pulled out a seat for Adrian and sat her before sitting himself. "So, how was the rest of your day? Until now, that is," he asked, smiling jovially.
"Me and my friend went shopping after school," she laid her hands on her lap, "other than that it was pretty uneventful."
"Yeah, Sara helped me pick out this dress, and the one for tomorrow," she looked down at her outfit and think back up.
Yoji's heart sank a little. He had planned on asking her to the prom, but figured if she had already gotten a dress then she must already have a date. "Oh, that is exciting," he said with a half-hearted smile.
