I have. I love this series, in fact I have a crush on Harry. The books are well written with characters that you care about.
I'm on book 2 now Fool Moon,
and love them. I've had the books for ages but never got to them, even the librarian at my local library recommended them to me. I too think I might have a little crush on Harry Dresden. How far in the series have you got Karen, maybe we could start a buddy read
Unfortunately, and I do mean unfortunately I've read them all :-( but the new one is due out at the end of the year :-)
I don't think I can catch up by then. But good to know they're still written. Do you have any favourites?
I have now read Fool Moon and Grave Peril. Each book is an improvement on the previous one. I'm now about 60 pages into the 4th, Summer Knight, and I love these books
This Dresden series has really got me hooked, I rarely read one book after the other, but I'm now on the fifth; Death Masks,
. So far the Summer Knight has been my favourite, I love the "smart-ass" sarcasm, the charm, chivalry and flaws of Harry Dresden. Good fun reads
I have read all of them and can't wait for the next one. I really enjoyed them and like Chris love the 'smart-ass' sarcasm
If you like the Dresden Files you should try Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid series. It's brilliant and I love the dog in it.You'll see what I mean when you read them.
I've read the first 2 and have 2 more on kindle ready to read. You're right, they are excellent! I have a few books on the go but intend to get to Hammered soon.
Still addicted to the Dresden Files, Read Blood Rites,
in a couple of sittings and downloaded Dead Beat,
and Proven Guilty,
. I swear this books are getting better with each installment to to the series.
Just finished Proven Guilty and enjoyed it so much I had to download the 9th book White Night to start later tonight. These characters feel like family now! Awesome!!
Karen, I'm up to the 10th now, at this rate I will reading the newest with you in December! So so good!
They've changed the publication date, it is now sometime in January :-(Amazon originally had the release date for the hardback as the 3rd December and the kindle version as January, now they are both January. The hardback was going to be my birthday present to myself.
Hmm not so good! How disappointing I hate it when it happens. At least you'll have something to look forward to for a cold January evening when all the nice xmas food and chocolates have gone and spring is too far away to cheer you.
At the rate I'm getting through these books we'll make it a buddy read

Never thought of that. What's that they say about every cloud?
I just started to read the series. im reading Storm Front :) I am really enjoying it so far so im hoping to complete the series
I'm very sad, they've changed the publication date again. Now the next book in the series is due out in June.
Noooo. I hate it when that happens. I'm up to Turn Coat and loving it. Best in a long line of good books
Just finished Ghost. Good but not the best. I started Cold Day (book 14) immediately, but have not got very far yet. Karen, did you read Side Jobs too? I'm not sure how that sits in the series chronologically. I might have to rely on it to get me through to the next release Skin Game.

Yep I read Side Jobs as well, in terms of the series there is a novella in it that comes right after Changes but the rest of the stories come at different points in the series.
I have only just discovered these books. I have read the first three. i thought the first was an ok read but lacked something. however they are improving and i am really enjoying the series now.
The 4th book, The Summer Knight is probably my favourite. Ann, if you carry on with the series, you are in for a treat!

Reading Cold Days, and it's great to have Thomas back in the fray again, would like to see Michael too but less than half way, so there is time!
Just finished Cold Days, and WOW, as good as Summer Knight and it's certainly a favourite. Now I'm in the same boat as Karen; waiting impatiently for the next book. Time to catch up on all the half finished books I ditched to read Harry :(
I've been talking about these books at work for several days now and I think I've boosted a local bookshop's sales. 6 people chipped in and they bought the whole lot to read and swap amongst themselves. How cool is that

im still reading the series, im fairly early on in the series so its gunna be a while until actually keep up with the series
So, one day to go, I have my copy of Skin Game ordered, and since it's school half term, I have booked time off to pretend I'm looking after the kids! Such fun!!
