Hi Allison! I'm Sherilyn from Houston and I write and read whenever I have the opportunity. I'm working on my debut novel, some of which is posted in the writing section of my profile. (feedback is appreciated and reciprocated). My first publishing project has just been released on Kindle. It's a blog told from the perspective of my pet rabbit.
Hi Allison and SJ, I started writing as young mom and I'm a great-grandmother now... still writing and love it. I'm published in newspapers, magazines, and nonfiction books for kids and grown-ups. I've made the switch from nonfiction to Christian fiction and my first two novels are available from Amazon for Kindle. Self publishing via KDP is a wild experience but no less so than traditional publishing. I love the writing journey, never know what might be on the next page or where the next plot twist will lead... So, after years of outlining, I'm mostly "seat of the pants" for fiction. I should add that I'm an avid reader. As I attend creative writing classes and writers' conferences this advice is constant: read, read, read and write, write, write... so, that's what I do.
Hi, I'm a social media coach to authors as well as working on several Jewish vampire stories. I love to read. I'm dealing with chronic health problems so I'm not writing or working as much as I'd like. I am reading lots across many fiction genre. Currently I'm way behind on getting my GR reviews up. Good to meet all of you.
Hi! I'm Penny. I love to read. I just self-published my first book in mid-March (a contemporary romantic comedy) and am trying to navigate all the pits of despair and mountains of insurmountable toil associated with indie authorship (as well as social media and networking) while working on my second book. Sorry for the obscene run on sentence...Glad to be here!
I've never taken a creative writing class or attended a conference but am looking forward to learning about those opportunities to grow my abilities.
Hi!
My name is Pam. I love reading and writing. I write under the pen name E.P. Scott and am in the process of refining my debut novel.
LOL, I have to agree with you Penny, there are a lot of things to deal with, aren't there?
Glad to be here!

Hi there! I'm a self-published author; my first digital book was a #1 Amazon best seller in the nonfiction/essay/pets category for three days in December of 2012. Boy, that was a learning curve! I'm a reading addict, blogger, currently not sure what I'm working on next.
I passed on a small press contract to go the Indie route. My debut novel, The Epitaph of Jonas Barloff, a YA horror/mystery, came out in March 2013. Check it out here: http://www.amazon.com/Epitaph-Jonas-B...Meanwhile, I'm working on a supernatural thriller - about two-thirds done with the first draft at this writing.
Hi, I'm Ben Mears. I'm an indie author currently working on the third book of the Tyler May series. The big story is about a teenage girl who finds a mysterious device and is subsequently drawn into a fantastic adventure. Book 1 is 'The Haunting of Tyler May' and book 2, 'The Thieves of Antiquity'. I'm utterly addicted to writing this series and don't want to do anything else. Ever.
Hi there! I'm Nina Smith. I'm an Indie author, like most of you guys, and very new to the whole thing but finding it all very exciting. I am addicted to writing!
Hi Nina! I am also a writer here. Glad to have you aboard. What is your specialty? Mine is romance laced with a bit o magic. Send me your title and information. Would love to read what you've done. Denise Flora
Hi Denise, at the moment its thrillers, but I'm also working on some fantasy. My debut novel is Hailstone. :)How about you?
Debut novel was "Mckenna" about a modern woman, taken to the future by a wizard. She uncovers a secret in her attic that leads her to the man she is destined to find. Really cool scenario. Book two, "Rowan", is about Mckenna's second daughter, born a Druid. Her own prophecy and destiny. Many characters make this an enchanting and exciting story with multiple dangers. Book three will be out in a few months, "Grace". And the two more. You can find them anywhere. I will look for your debut novel. I need to read more thrillers and mystery. And I will leave you a review. I believe every author needs reviews, as do I. And it is an important and courteous thing to do for a fellow author.
