Lee walked in to the bar, glancing at the strange pictures on the wall. He noticed that there were hardly any people there; just a tired-looking bartender and a couple sleeping in the corner. Lee looked at his watch: 9:22pm. There should be more people here this time of day. Lee sat down on a sleek red bar stool and ordered a glass of water. Secretly he was wishing that a certain someone would join him, although outwardly no one would ever guess that. He was not one to show his feelings.
Lee saw Atlas sitting down and smiled at her. He liked her, she was nice enough to everyone. Lee finished his water and strolled over to her. "Hey, how's it going? Aren't you supposed to be at your compound ? "
"Sometimes, yeah," said Lee. "I had a pretty exhausting day today so I usually come down here to unwind. But as you can see-" he gestured to his water- "I don't drink." Lee ran his fingers through his brown hair and smiled again. Atlas's bright red hair was the highlight of her appearance and suited her personality. "Anyways, enough about me. How was your day?"
"Yeah? How's that going for you?" Lee blinked a few times and shook his head quickly. "Ah, I'm sorry. I'm being weird, asking you all these silly questions."He looked back down at his feet, swinging them slightly.
Vivid pressed his hand against the door of the bar, wondering if he should go inside. Eventually his curiosity won over and he slipped inside. knowing what was best, he slipped into the shadows and stayed out of sight. Almost blending into the wall, he spotted a couple of squibs talking near the bar. She had fiery orange hair; he was average looking. Vivid decided to sit down in a corner and observe them in peace.
"Well, I'm glad about that," He smiled again. "Anyways.... What else do you like to do? I really haven't talked to you for a while..."Lee felt very self- conscious ... He wasn't the best at flirting and didn't do it very often.
Viv saw the couple beginning to flirt and shook his head. Who had time for that? He slipped back out of the door of the bar, but not before grabbing a drink. He placed a foot gingerly on the street and set out wherever his feet decided to take him.
"Aw, that's really cool ! I'm normally around, you know, everywhere. Not too much going on I suppose.."
Lee pushed his tongue into his top teeth, a habit he performed without fail. "Well, I do like to make and fix things..."
One other thing nagged in the back of his mind, but he was not going to tell Atlas about the visions. He hadn't told anyone about those, only the Girl From The Past. But she was in those visions, so that didn't really count.
"Well, I hunt, I like to refine weapons and such. And helping people around the city..."Lee wondered to himself why he hadn't talked to Atlas much before. Now, he thought, he realized he didn't know much about her at all.
Mel entered into the bar with Derrick right behind her. She saw Lee and Atlas talking on a couple of barstools, and smiled to herself. They were two squibs she'd known for a while and had always thought they'd make a good couple."So, yeah, this is the Tune Bar. It's not too busy now, as you can see, but later, believe me, it will be."
derrick stares in awe on how magnificent this place is, he than notices Mel looking at two other teens that look about her age. "they friends of yours?" Derrick said
Without mel answering his question he descided to have a look around the place.
River followed her inside, and whistled; it was an impressive place, just like the rest of the campus was. Several people were sitting at tables or at the bar.
"Yeah... I've never been in a...bar before though. Have you?"
River laughed. "Well, I guess there's a first for everything eh? So, where do you want to sit?" She looked at the empty seats, then at the teenagers sitting on the bar stools.
"Okay," River and Arissa walked to the bar and sat down, and River gazed at the drinks board, trying to figure out what she wanted.
(love it!) River grinned and said to the bartender, "Pfft, she can take it! In fact, I'll have one too if ya don't mind."
"I'm not sure," Lee replied. But I'll check, and maybe I could swing by your place before classes?" Atlas lived just down the road from Lee, so that wouldn't be much of a problem

Mel shook herself out of a daze and followed Derrick to where they sat down. She ordered a virgin mojito and blew out a breath. It was pretty late to be out, and it'd been a while since she'd been at the TB with someone.(((This is where it's happening right now eh? Ahahahaha)))
The bartender slid them each a glass of the red drink (was it red or yellow? I can't remember), and the girls clinked them together before taking hesitant sips. "Whew!" Exclaimed River, blinking. "This is intense!"

(wow got lucky on that guess huh? haha) River held back a smile at the expression on the bartenders' face and nudged Arissa. "He can't believe we can actually take it! Ha!" She whispered.
Nodding, River agreed. "I hear ya. Speaking of guys; have you met any 'round here yet?"
"Well, I've seen a few when I first got here, but they all seem really... I dunno... intimidating? But there was this pretty cute guy I saw walking through the courtyard earlier..." River drifted off, blushing slightly as she took another drink.
"Shhh!!" River said, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear nervously as she glanced around. "I'm not sure what his name was! But he was pale and had black hair, and was wearing a hoodie... it's weird; I usually don't go for the whole 'tall, dark and handsome' deal, but he was *really* cute."
"Thanks, me too." River listened intently as Arissa spoke, genuinely interested in what she had to say. "Well, I can't say I know how you feel 'cuz I haven't seen my parents in years, but he's right. I mean, we're friends right? So you can at least tell him that I guess." River drained her Firewhiskey glass and wiped her mouth.

River looked down, studying the table top. She wasn't big on revisiting her past. "My family was pretty screwed up before I left. Probably still are. But my mom married this new guy and... he hated me and my brother. Called us 'freaks' and said we should be locked up. My brother wasn't living with us then, so he wasn't around much after that, but when I was 10 it finally got bad enough I decided to leave. I spent a year on the street and then made for the woods."

Derrick glanced up at the clock almost in a gasp " sorry i have to go." And before mel could say anything he was already out the door and gone.
((Late again sorry)) "Yeah sure, see you then !" Lee agreed.
Mel saw Derrick run out of the door and shrugged. It was late, she should be getting home anyways as it was a school night.

Marcus just grunted and went back to sorting the bottles by the shelves.
Vee gulps her drink and slide the cup across the counter "here you go buddy" and she hops off het stool.
River and Ethan walked in, Ethan held the door open for her, and she said a sheepish thank you."Well, here it is! It's pretty neat." She said.
"I know right?" River led them over to a table near the corner, and called to Marcus the bartender, "Two Firewhiskey's please!" Then said to Ethan, "You're gonna love this stuff!"(Idk if you've ever seen the Mission Impossible movies- the lead in it's name is Ethan Hunt and for some reason I can't stop thinking about that rotfl!)
When the drinks arrived, the two clinked them together, and River watched as Ethan took a sip, waiting for his reaction.
"Like it?" River asked. But there was another question burning in her mouth.
