Tristan hobbled through the streets weakened by the sunlight. The shadow inside of him squirmed to keep out of the light. It was a heavy burden, but he couldn't take it back now. He made his mistake by joining the Midnight society. Mistakes can't just be undone.
Kyfen stumbled down the street, wincing at the sunlight. He hated the day, it brought back his painful memories. He hissed and leant against a wall, in shadows. That felt better to him, but he lost control...
Tristan looked up at Kyfen as he hid in the shadows. "Idiot." They usually insulted each other as they passed one another on the street in the day. The two of them hardly knew each other, but they seemed like best friends. They were in the same boat after all.
Kyfen looked up at Tristan and thought of a response. "No brains." He shot back, getting off of the wall. Why did the sun have to be so god damned bright?
Tristan sneered. Two morons in pain from sunlight, but to most people they just looked extremely hungover. What were they thinking when they joined the midnight society? They weren't thinking. That was the problem.
Ky scrunched up his nose at Tristan. "Damn the sun." He muttered. Why couldn't his shadow just take over and leave the pain away already?
"You said it." Tristan slumped down until he was sitting on the ground across the empty street from Kyfen.
Kyfen looked across at Tristan. "Why the hell are we here again?" He should probably know, but couldn't be stuffed to remember.
((going to bed, night!))
((going to bed, night!))
"Beats me." Tristan replied. "You might as well ask a brick wall. The only thing you're gonna get is the obvious. We're here to reek havoc."
Kyfen nodded slowly and winced from the sun again. He made his hand be covered in darkness. "Havoc, well we need to find some humans for that."
