Shut Up & Read discussion

We will be starting Monday.

Count me out of next week read, I still haven't had the heart to continue this one yet. :) Been reading some other things these past couple weeks. Starting up this week.

I really enjoyed the Demon-Cycle series by Peter Brett Those books were just...epic.

Anyways will drop by to see what Miss Alexia is up to in this one, I might not have the heart to read it, but I will see what's happening as the discussion goes . lol

Shahbaz, sorry you are not going to read with us next week. We have missed your comments. I don't know if you are a James Patterson fan but is excellent. It is action packed, keep you guessing to the end crime thriller. You should give it a try.

I'm a little bit worried about this one...I've read a few reviews where they say it just wasn't as good as the rest.

I hope those reviews are wrong.

How many chapters/day?

My hml loved this one. I'm looking forward to Prudence. The last one was crazy. I hope this one is a tad more tame.

I haven't grabbed this one yet, so I can't answer the chapter question. I imagine between 13 and 17 though.
That's her standard.

Floote wanted to shut Duh up. He is always protecting Alexia's father. Alexia and Prudence on a trip to Egypt that will be interesting.

I've become very suspicious of Floote, I'm not sure what to think of him anymore.

Biffy is part of the Parasol Protectorate. Love it! The scene with the pledge was funny.

Alexia should heed Lord Akeldama and Floote's advice not to go to Egypt. Trouble ahead.

The water thing is an interesting new development. I loved the scene with Prudence the Pup in her pink gown running amok all over the ship :)

I totally agree Rebecka! I loved this book! She did an excellent job tidying everything up.
