I receive an email every day with info about new free books
I'm a part of a "free book" group on GR
When I notice a book is free and my friend has it on their TBR pile, I normally post on their book thread that it's free - so my friends do the same for me
I send recommendations to my frieds if I think I've found a book that they will like that's free - and so they do the same for me
I do a lot of digging
LOL I've cut back on posting free books on here just to give everyone break....

(brave as I am I read it in the dark :D) and I really have to contain myself not to read the second right now...Dex makes me suspicious and the Clown Lady gives me the creeps, though she's my favorite character in the book :D
I love that lady too. When she appeared the first time, I was terrified.
the clown lady! LOL! she cracks me up every time!it was the guy in the lighthouse that creeped me out!!
Yay! I'm so ready for the freaky clown lady and crazy main characters (and some creepy paranormal activity!!!)

ok I finally finished the first 5 chapters (got interrupted several times).So far I like it as much as "the darkhouse" still I got reminded that I don't like Ada and Dex shouldn't wear a mustache :D

note: i don't remember the chapters being that long...I'm at chapter 9 so halfway through and enjoying the writing style fully again but the pace is a bit...slow...I am missing a bit of action and spooky moments here

Done. And disappointed. And sad because it was disappointing :DOk, I'll try to sum up my thoughts spoiler free so the spoiler talk can start when you finished too.
At first I wanted to rate it 3 stars because I like the author so much but considering the plot and the order of events it doesn't seem honest so 2 stars it is *sob*.
Partly the book even confused me a little and I couldn't follow, though I have to admit that could be 'cause I didn't pay much attention at some points since it bored me a bit...
Maybe it's because the whole "animal" (You'll understand the deeper meaning later ;b) thing wasn't exactly mine and didn't gave me the spooky feeling from the first book..
Also the characters weren't really likeable to me, I'm very indifferent to them (Not Perry and Dex just the new ones in this book, of course).
I think I din't pay enough attention because I don't know who exactly Rudy is.
For me there maybe were to much characters without an important role or need, altogether there were about 8...
I hope it's just a slip from the author.
I also plan to catch up the whole series soon.
Maybe and hopefully you'll like it more than I did :)

yeah I thought it was very slow paced too...I couldn't quite follow the storyline.
