Malta's Story Arc is getting interesting. Especially her first "dream" date

Yes, that too. But I am interested now that she is on the Rain Wild Traders Radar -especially the one who is showing an interest in her.
ch26 - oh yes, looks like i didn't have to wait long to find out what the consequences are for malta's behaviour the party. now she stole the box? that girl is deliciously ridiculous! (not a fan of her though)
ch27 - I'm not sure what to make of Etta... she's a weird character but there's something seriously wrong. I normally like a feisty girl, but this one gives me bad vibes.
what she did to that prisoner, ouch!

ch28 - torg didn't tell kyle his son was about to become a slave. no surprises there. i think he might just have made it on my top10 most despised characters ever.
i did like vivacia's nervous rocking in the harbour. it must become clear to all that there is more to a liveship than just a ship that remembers its course. she's a human being for all intends and purposes.
i do like amber and paragon and the picture she painted to become a houseboat. too bad he rejected it!

ch29 -
"Somehow asking Sorcor's aid had made the man more dependent on his approval than ever. He had chosen his first mate well, he decided. Were he in Sorcor's position, he would have instinctively grasped that now was his best opportunity to seize full power. Luckily for Kennit, Sorcor was slower-witted than he."
something is definitely off in Kennit's twisted mind. maybe sorcor is just loyal or a better man, rather than slow-witted??
ch30 - aaaa malta, you little fool!
her story is getting quite exciting actually!
and then, i'm wondering with kennit and the liveship, it's going to work this time isn't it? he's going to get to vivacia? or at least very close?
she's still young and she doesn't have the support she needs now that her vestrit blood is chained up and not very willing...

I really felt in when Winthrow got tattooed. For life. I'm also wondering what exactly happened to Paragon. Maybe it started out somewhat similar to what is happening to Vivacia right now. Maybe there was a lot of death on board?
there was, amber counted 16 or 17 blood spots on his deck and paragon noted to himself that she had missed a few.
so it's not unlikely something similar happened with paragon. he was also pretty young when it happened, and it looks like these liveships need a lot of support after their quickening.
