Because he thought it would impress Evangeline.

Why did Julian Skye try and turn in Vincent Harker?

Because he heard that Dog the Bounty Hunter was after him and wanted to beat him to the bounty!

Why did clan Wolf attack clan Campbell?

Because Valentine Wolfe was upset that everyone seemed more impressed at Finlay Campbells ongoing "fashion" performance than they were at his own ongoing "drug" performance.

Why did Chantelle refuse to help Adrienne when she was cast out of society?

Because she was busy washing her hair that week....

Why did Jenny Psycho turn her back on her father?

Because he refused to buy her a pony for her fifth birthday.

Why did Owen make the Esper Union Building fall down?

Because they wouldn't let him join....

Why did Finlay wear a Mask in the Arena?

Because Evangeline slapped him and he didn't want anyone to see the mark.

How were Lionstone's maids chosen?

Lionstone's maids were chosen by playing eenie meenie miney mo.

Why did our hero's go in search of the man in red

Because they all wanted to know if Santa Claus was real.

Why did Hazel save Owen on Virimonde?

She thought he was Brad Pitt.

Why did Lionstone outlaw Owen?

Because he wouldn't answer her love notes.

Why did Ozymandius betray Owen and his friends?

Owen and his ..… ?? Because Owen kept deleting things that Oz TiVo'd

Why did Shub make a clone / ghost warrior of Jack Random?

Because they wanted to make a new magazine based around Jack Random and the original Jack wouldn't agree to doing photo-shoots.

Why did Valentine Wolfe kill his father?

Because he wouldn't let him stay up late....

Why is Rose unhinged?

Probably because she met the Sea Goat!!

Why did Daniel & Stefanie try to kill Valentine?

Because he took away their Bruin Bear....

Why does the Sea Goat drink too much?

The Sea Goat drinks too much becuase he saw the Jack Random photo shoot!

Why did the Sunstrider (Mark I)crash?

Because Ozymandius refused to fly the ship, after Owen shouted at him for hacking Owens Facebook account.

What was the secret Finlay Campbell didn't want to tell Julian Skye?

That Finlay was in fact addicted to Big Brother....

Why did Flynn have a very big gun?

Because he had a fear of birds, and wanted to be able to blow them up if one came near him.

Why did Tobias Shreck quit Gregor's employ?

Because Tobias wanted to run off and woo Ruby Journey

Why did Owen really run backwards in time?

Because he remembered something important that he dropped five years ago?

Why did the aliens turn Vincent Fast into Half-a-Man?

Because he lost a bet with them over a fight between a Hadenman and a Grendel

Why did Lionstone keep maids

Because they were the only people she could ever really talk to.

Why did Finn Durandal decide to tear down the Golden Age?

So he could put the Mediocre Age in it's place.

What did Dram see in Lionstone?

Dram could see through all Lionstone's coldness and bitchiness to her core of true kindness and humanity, and he loved her for that. (*cough**cough* yeah right *cough*)

Why did Dram hate his father?

Because dear old Daddy Giles, stole all his toys, and gave him swords to play with instead.

Why did Giles help Owen?

Because Owen told him that Lionstone had found and destroyed Giles secret stash of collectible items that Giles had hidden in the subsystems before he left Golgotha.

Why did the Maze let Owen and his companions pass?

Because he paid the toll at the entrance.

Why did Owen run back in time?

To check the details of a historical event he wanted to write about in one of his books.

Who was Vaughn?

He was secretly Kit in disguise.

Why did the hadenmen give Owen a new hand?✋

So that they could remote control it and have him slap himself in the face all the time.

What made the Grendel aliens so dangerous?

They stole the remote for Owens hand and used it to give the hadenmen the finger

Because Owen told her he'd never talk to her again if she didn't take it.

Elias Gutman was kicked out because he put whoopee cushions on everyone's seats!

Why did Shub infect Daniel Wolfe with the nano plague?

Because Daniel was driven insane by the knowledge his father was dead, and begged the AIs to give him the nano plague.

What were the Church troops doing on Technos III?

They were trying to get crossdressing advice from Flynn.

What caused the 'toys' to revolt on the pleasure planet?

The AIs of Shub said that they'd supply free beer for a year to whichever toy killed the most humans.

Why did BB Chojiro betray Julian?

Because he had better hair then she did!

Because he wanted to win in the burping contest against Bruin Bear.

Because he was drunk and accidentally let his Maze powers loose when they told him they were upping the tax on alcohol.

Because he told her a dress she was wearing made her look fat.

Why did the AI's of Shub want to capture Daniel Wolfe?

Because they can tell Daniel is a man going somewhere, and they want to hitch a ride......
