Zende is a huge 7' 8'', weighing 228 pounds. His clothes consist of a loincloth made from linen which goes down past his knees. He used to wear many ornaments from his home town such as metal bracelets and a necklace with a part of a elephant tusk. All of these were gathered from competitions of strength, stamina and endurance. But under his master's command, all of them were taken away. He is a skilled warrior and is very muscled. Zende's skin is naturally a very dark colour, since he comes from Africa. He is also bald as it was necessary in his village for all warriors' hair to be shaven off completely. Not that he minds - to him, it is a sign he is a true warrior. Zende has small, dark brown eyes. There used to be a piercing in his left eyebrow, however that also was removed.
When he walks his steps are slow and heavy. This is because of his weight, and the weight added by the war-axe he carries on his back. It is his weapon of choice, however he can also fight with a spear.
Abilities:
He was trained as a barbarian from the age he could wield a weapon. It was harsh and rigorous training and many scars on his body prove it. Zende is a skilled warrior, however he had no other education.
Family:
Zende is son to Kanoni (Kah-noh-nee) and Makwetu (Mah-kweh-too) Mutebuka. He is an only child. Kanoni, his mother, sold fruit at the market to earn money for the family. His father Makwetu was a huntsman for the tribe. They are now both too old to work, and live in a hut on the outskirts of the village.
When Zende still lived with them, they were good parents. They let him enjoy himself but if he misbehaved, they were sure to punish him in some way.
If they had a choice, they wouldn't have sent Zende to the school, but it was necessary for all boys his age who could fight, to go. And the only thing Zende got in trouble for, was picking fights with other boys.
History:
Zende was born in Western Africa, in a village home to the tribe of Mbundu. However he was taken away, at the age of 20, and became a slave for his current master, a mage named Zehir.
His childhood was very... strict. When Zende was 8, he was sent to a school for future warriors of the tribe. His stamina and endurance surpassed all other students, but in that school even if you did well, you weren't given much credit. And if you did one thing wrong, you were made to simply run around the school field, or lift a heavy object as many times as needed.
Zende spent his teenage years in that same school, until he was 20. Then, a nobleman came from distant lands and took 5 men with him to sell as slaves. Zende was on that five. He was taken away and Zehir, his current master, bought him as a personal bodyguard. Zehir took away all reminders of Zende's tribe, and had him baptised. The name chosen by Zehir was Samuel. So Zende became Samuel from that day on. He did object, but understood his place as slave, and accepted the new name without a word.
Personality:
Zende is a quiet individual when in the presence of his master. He is forbidden to speak unless allowed to do so, Zehir finds it unnecessary for Zende to talk, as he is only there to guard and protect. So far, Zende has kept to that rule.
Zende is a slow thinker, and doesn't develop highly complicated strategies. Well, he never resorts to strategies anyway. If in combat, Zende relies solely on his strength and endurance. He doesn't think much about what he'll do next, and that nearly cost him his life many times.
Outside of Zehir's presence, Zende is louder and more sociable. As he is allowed to speak outside of Zehir's home, he becomes more friendly and talks to people. He mostly goes to a nearby pub.
However, if Zende happens to drink a little too much ale, his friendlyness turns into rowdyness. He becomes easily aggravated, and can start a fight in the blink of an eye. It is not good when a man, who carries a huge battleaxe on his back, tries to start a fight. Not good.
Inside, Zende wants to know more. True, he was made to be a fighter on a scholar, but he feels like he needs to learn the things that other kids in his village were taught when they were 10. When Zehir locks himself away for longer in his alchemy lab, Zende tries to read some of the books from his library. Not that he understands much, but at least he learns a few more English words.

Robert is not what you would call 'thin'. He is fat. Extremely fat. His diet consists mostly of sausages and beer. He is 4' 9" and weighs about 312 pounds. He is also bald. Yes, only 32 years old and he already lost all his hair. Robert's eyes are tiny and brown. When you look at him, he reminds you of a pig. It is a miracle no one mistook him for one so far and slaughtered him. Maybe it is the lack of a tail that throws people off trail and stops them from killing him. His clothes consist of a dark blue mage's robe and sandals, under which he wears pink socks. But it's not a normal pink - it's one of those pinks that make you want to claw your eyes out. The robes, no matter how many he has or how many times he cleans them, seem to always be covered in a layer of sweat and fat - the fat coming from all the sausages he devours daily.
Abilities:
When you look at the.. rather... obese... person.. that is Robert Bobos, you expect him to be only good at two things: eating, and storing fat.
But when you get through the layers of fat, there is a very capable mage inside him. Yes, Robert Bobos is a Mage, if we overlook the fact that he got his spellcasting certificate from a school created for morons. He is a very good mage, but is too lazy to actually create any spells or potions.

Robert has a Narcissistic personality disorder. Now, I surely mustn't explain what that is, but for the ones that don't know, Wikipedia shall explain:
"The narcissist is described as turning inward for gratification rather than depending on others, and as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power, and prestige. Narcissistic personality disorder is closely linked to self-centeredness."
He thinks he is the most beautiful person on Earth, and that makes all women very uncomfortable when they're around him. Especially because he reminds you of a pig.
However, there is a deep and thoughtful side to him, which shows rarely, but when it does, he is a useful person to have around.
In the inn, with some beer, he becomes all happy and to many women's dismay - flirty. His attempts to win over a woman's heart once made her rather... sick... as he said some things I won't repeat.

Lazy, stupid and arrogant at that time, Robos was sent away to a 'special' school for 'special' children. An IQ test showed that he wasn't... very smart at the time, no matter whatever the hell his parents called him.
Already believing that he was perfect in every way, Robert decided that the school was no good for him and decided to run away, since he was so smart and perfect. He was 15 when he decided to run away. Even though he was only a teen at the time, he was already fat and was beginning to lose hair already.
He was taken in by an equally narcissistic mage, who was also a complete idiot. However the mage was found to be illegally creating potions, and was put in prison where his narcissim became the death of him. It was decided that Robert was to go to a proper Mage's Academy, and he found that this school was much more to his liking.
Robert finished his scholarship at the academy when he was 25, and went into the world with a thought to do only good things and get good women. His life was completely different than he wanted. He was still lazy and arrogant, just much less stupid. He did no good things but only drank and ate, ate and drank, etc, etc.
For the past seven years of his life, the deadly diet or beer and sausages continued. He accomplished nothing, except becoming England's fattest man.

But I enjoy it. To me, it is a sign that I'm a more-or-less literate roleplayer, even though I've only been in England for 4 years. (I'm Polish.)
