Whoever has not read Harry Potter, does not qualify to be reading. These books are a classic, and they will never go away!

message 2: by Andy (new)

Andy Yes they will go away, and they are not yet a classic, but they are my favourite books ever! I love them all (except for the first one... too boring)my favourite is the last one, except for one incident that happens with an exploding wall...
My favourite characters are Dobby, Fred, George, Luna, Hermione, Luna, Ron, Ginny, Sirius, Remus, Tonks, Luna, Malfoy, Seamus, Harry, Luna, Snape, Magonagall, Luna, And many, many more... LUNA!

message 3: by Andy (new)

Andy Isn't it horrible who she married!!!!??????

message 4: by Laurena (new)

Laurena Yes. It should've been Neville.

message 5: by Andy (new)

Andy Yeah... but it wasn't...

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

I liked it when Harry died in the 7th book and came back to life.

message 7: by Andy (new)

Andy I wish he just stayed dead, it would have added affect, but I guess it wouldn't be complex enough for her.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

You just don't like Harry, Andy!! And how can you say that Harry Potter will go away!! Too many people love it (Including me!! lol!!) Luna should've married Neville!! My fav character are Hermione, Ginny, Harry, Ron, Dumbledore, Fred and George, Neville, Luna, Remus, Tonks, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Sirius, Dobby, Hagrid, MCgonagall, and more!!

message 9: by Andy (last edited Apr 16, 2009 06:29AM) (new)

Andy OK, so I spelled MCgonagall wrong... OK, and By the way, Harry Potter has died down so much already, so when all the movies are out... it's not going to last forever, you've got to know that... right?

message 10: by Laurena (new)

Laurena I do!

message 11: by Andy (new)

Andy See? Laurena agrees.

message 12: by Laurena (new)

Laurena Yep.

Well...

What kind of names did J.K. Rowling think up of? I mean, Hagrid? Dumbeldore?

Wht is that all about ?

message 14: by Aditya (new)

Aditya | 60 comments Hermione? Snape? Weasly? Potter? Granger? Voldemort?
What about that?

message 15: by Aditya (new)

Aditya | 60 comments The seventh movie will be horrible
just know that
Rated "R"

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Really...

AWESOME!

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

And as for the names, they all either have historical or linguistic importance. My brother, and I were reading them, and started noticing a pattern, so we looked into it, and there are books dedicated to stuff like that.

Oh, and some of them are just really cool British/European names that we haven't heard of that much.

message 18: by Andy (new)

Andy The seventh movie will be great, considereing they split it up into two movies just because they couldn't fit all the information in one movie... I think it'll be good... Oh, and Adita, Potter is a real last name... and Hermione is a real name...

message 19: by Aditya (new)

Aditya | 60 comments Cool and it's Aditya

message 20: by Andy (new)

Andy Sorry

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Well I know it will eventually die down but I don't think it will every completley go away. I know you don't agree with me but that's what I think!!

Skye right there is a pattern. I've noticed that some of the names are even constellations. Draco, Sirius, and Scorpios are some of them!!

message 24: by Laurena (new)

Laurena That's cool! I didn't know there were constalation names in the books...

message 25: by [deleted user] (last edited May 12, 2009 06:11AM) (new)

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

She was at a coffee shop when she started writing Harry Potter 1!

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

She thought of the idea in a train car, and than, ya, wrote them in a cafe.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

I saw the Harry Potter 6 it was not very intense but still very good!

message 36: by Andy (new)

Andy I saw it too, I loved it. there were many things I would criticize, but nonetheless, great movie.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Loved it! Ya, a few things were missing, but, still loved it.

message 38: by Laurena (new)
