Miki was sitting on the curb, mostly Faded, but still in view. She sighed heavily as she looked down at her hands. She was also disguised in her spiritual form.
Miki slowly looked up at him, her hair not moving out of her face. She didn't speak, but she continued to look at him.
Miki frowned, although he couldn't see. All her hair was covering her face. "I see...Seems like you have a lot to learn about this place..."she said, almost in a whisper.
She sighed. "Not everything is what it seems in this town. Some of the people you see....some of them are not people, like me,"she explained.
She was silent for a second. Then, she stood up and slowly walked out into the road. She stood there as a car was driving closer. She didn't show any sign of fear. The car drove through her and left. She turned around to face James.
She slowly Faded. She was nowhere to be seen. But she materialized behind James and whispered,"You already know."
Miki sighed and shook her head. "If you blurt out like that, it's not gonna be good. Some people can see ghosts, but not everyone. People will think you're crazy,"she explained.
She shrugged. "I dunno. I'm stuck here, I guess." Her form slowly changed. She now resembled what she looked like as a human.
She ran a hand through her hair and said,"I was shot behind the school. No good reason, the guy just decided to shoot me."
She raised an eyebrow. "It's not a secret about how I died. The whole town knows what happened. It was on the news..." She sighed and looked down at her feet.
She looked up at him, her eyes sad. "That's nice of you...but it wouldn't do any good. I never saw my killer. He got away after I died."
She nodded. "Yes, my parents had sent me out to claim the prize, but I stopped by the school first."
She soon stopped in front of the place where she was killed. She frowned when she saw a little blood on the pavement. Looks like they didn't clean up everything...
She nodded. "It might feel a little weird." She reached out her arm, placing her hand on his arm. Her touch felt like cold air, but also felt like millions of butterflies pounding their wings against your skin.
She bit her lip a little and said,"I have a sixteen year old cousin. He lives in Europe though."
