Jess (jesmy777) I love Vonnegut's writing style, but I can see how weird it must be to get used to.

Alyson | 5 comments I'm actually really excited for this. I've never read any Vonnegut (I don't even know how this happened tbh), so this is the perfect opportunity. I read the first page on my kindle and it seems like something I'll end up digging quite a bit.

Denisse | 16 comments I had a bit of problem finishing this, because the time jumps made me question whether I was interested or not, but by the time I had finished it I was left with the need to read more of what he has written.

Jess (jesmy777) I had forgotten the amazing term "bitchy flibbertygibbet."

I read this the first time in 11th grade. I took this hybrid English/History class and this was one of our WWII novels. It caused a lot of controversy with a few kids, but I loved it. My teacher gave me a copy of Breakfast of Champions to read next.

I'm a big Vonnegut nerd. I saw him speak in Ohio ages ago and even named my iPod Kilgore Trout and it has a Vonnegut quote on the back. /csb

Emy (emy0lee) | 92 comments I finished it a couple of days, and I'm still not quite sure how I felt about it. Everybody seems to either love it or hate it, but I'm more in between. At first I didn't like it, but it does grow on you as you go.

LOVED "bitchy flibbertygibbet" though.
