D Dream destination? Germany, Scotland or the US. I have been in the first two countries and loved being there. I have never been to the US and it's a dream that probably never will come true.
E Embrassing Moment? you know when asked to recall something you can't think of anything, but I am sure there are quite a lot of embarrasing moments in my life.
F Favorite Food? paprika
G Greatest Achievement? I don't feel like I achieved much yet. I think finishing university may count.
H Hometown? Sweet Lake City (in dutch Zoetermeer) in the Netherlands
I Innermost Fear? I am terrified of dogs and heights. I also fear elevators, air planes, orca's and small spaces without windows.
J Just finished reading? I love this serial. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves a dark gritty world with a good main characters who has to do some bad things.

No, probably not in that order, but don't ask me to put them in order, cuz I don't think I can!

Oh, fun thread! I'll have to wait until I'm back on my computer to copy and paste but will definitely join in. (My personal rule is no laptop on weekends because then I get too tempted to work!). ;-P

I meant the vegetable paprika, is it a different word in english? I love paprika's.

And yes I really love my boyfriend. I really don't know what I would do without him. He is awesome.

@Jenny, that's awesome that we share so mnay favourite authors. You should read the fever series by karen Marie Moning, I have re-read the whole series and that's why she deserves a place on my favourite author list (I almost never re-read books). I haven't read her other series yet, actually.

A Author you love? Lewis Carroll since he wrote Alice and that is my all time favorite. But I love Cate Tiernan and JK Rowling too.
B Best Friend: Simone. She is amazing. But she lives three hours away (if you travel by train) so I hate that. I really hate that haha.
C Can't live without: Music (and The Script. But that's part of music so I won't make a choice between those too.)
D Dream Destination: All destinations..... Haha that's like one of the main reasons I want to be a pilot... Uhm I would love to go to Dublin someday (because well... The Script haha)

LOL, my youngest daughter walked into a glass floor-to-ceiling window at the doctor's office a few months ago. She actually ran into it, and bounced off of it! Luckily she was okay, but my oldest daughter and I had so much trouble not laughing!

E When my mother-in-law tried to give me several HUGE tubes of KY Lube and told me, "You don't have to use it for sex, I use it for my butt!"
F This is a hard one... I like food... Polish stuffed cabbage and pierogies, Sharp Cheddar cheese, fried mushrooms with ranch dressing, Hot&Sour Soup, Broccoli Cheese Soup, Crab, Sushi (Eel is my favorite) ... and fondue. Sorry, I really like food.
G Greatest Achievement? I've been 'thanked' in at least 6 (probably more) books now, gotten one character named after me, another after my youngest son, and another in the works for my husband and oldest son. I don't write them, but I love being 'in' the books!

P Pizza Topping? My husband makes me a special cheese, spinach, mushroom, bacon, tomato (like actual sliced tomatoes) and black olive pizza with a garlic butter sauce instead of tomato sauce. I like artichokes, too, but they don't carry them at the pizza place he works at.

You all make me think of a story about my mother-in-law - who, if she were a character in a book, would be a little fat hen with a scarf and a pocketbook. She's been a pastor's wife all her life, and she tends to be outspoken and critical. But when she was at our house once, she walked right into the glass patio door and bumped her nose. Then she said something completely unexpected, while we all were gasping in shock and wondering if she was all right:
"Oh! I thought I was Jesus!"
We still laugh about it and she's 86. So no need to be embarrassed. Just consider yourself as having been mistaken for being divine.

Oh my gosh, Beatrice, I'm so sorry too about your friend. My wife has had quite a lot of tragedy in her life too...the best people usually do :( But that's amazing that your mom understands you best, so cool! I guess I'm up next! Give me a few minutes ;)

A Author you love? Dean Koontz (I'm obsessed with his writing! His Frankenstein and Odd Thomas series are sooooo good and hilariously suspenseful :)
B Best Friend- My Adele (my wife). If spouses don't count, then my friend Doug back in Pittsburgh. I met him back in College and we've had a long bromance lol
C Can't live without? Nothing! I believe that humans can persevere no matter what they lose...however, losing Adele would almost certainly destroy me to the core...
D Dream destination? Hmmm I'm sort of seeing them all on my little trip lol!
E Embrassing Monment? Well, I kinda sorta got the impression that a woman was pregnant, and I told Adele, and then she congratulated the woman...who was most decidedly NOT pregnant! Ooops! Adele blamed it on me of course, and I got an earful from the lady who, because she's an awesome person, took it in stride after giving me a hard time.

I will be so happy if I see Harry Potter theme park. When I went to Universal Studios, no HP theme park yet. Under construction.

Yay for Dean Koontz! I knew you were going to say Adele for your best friend, and for the record, I think spouses definitely count! Its who I picked as well because its TRUE :)
And you are already worthy lol :)

Oh and LOL on the embarrassing moment! Its a good lesson to never congratulate a women for pregnancy unless she tells you first! ;)
