Okay, so I just found out the author I THOUGHT was a one-hit wonder wasn't at all! Sylvia Cassedy wrote Behind The Attic Wall which is one of my all-time favorite books. Somehow I got it in my head that she had never written anything after that. (I have no idea how I got this misinformation, but I never did anything to check on it until I posted this!) She actually wrote M.E. and Morton and Lucie Babbidge's House but passed away before writing anything else. How I had her as a one-hit wonder, I'll never know! Glad I checked though, because that's two more I can read now. :)

Is this a bait post? You're kidding, right? (grinning :) You do know Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express? She wrote more than 30 books with the Hercule Poirot character...
Wrote more than 66 novels and many short story collections...

I also LOVED Behind the Attic Wall when I read it. Man, haven't thought about that book in years.
