Did you go to the RT Convention in Kansas City this year?

Cookie (bookcupidity) I went to the book fair on Saturday and it greatly exceeded my expectations, especially since I've never attended an author event before.

My sister and I took lots of pictures, and was able to meet some super cool authoresses! We laughed with Sarah MacLean, I thought Jeaniene Frost was geniuine and Elizabeth Hoyt was a sweetheart. Meeting Leigh Bardugo was also fun as we're both looking forward to Siege and Storm in June. (how much fun was it to name drop in that paragraph!)

I quadrupled my signed book collection. It was so much fun we're trying to plan to go to NOLA next year to more fully participate.

I also went to the book fair and had so much fun for that tiny little piece of the convention! i got my picture taken with Leanna Renee Hieber who wears amazing clothing, got Jade Lee to sign my arm, and had Beth Revis sign a book for my husband. (I love her too, but I wanted to get something that was all his own!) We also saw E.L. James at the Starbucks... Which was sort of surreal.

You will absolutely find me in New Orleans for the 2014 RT Convention!

LOL, I got a little crazy when Ilona Andrews ran out of books to sign and if they weren't looking so reserved sitting there at the table I probably would have asked them to sign my arm!! Instead I just stammered a question. *eyeroll*

I didn't see E.L., though I was looking - only because that would be surreal! I did, however, elbow my sister profusely when we were standing next to Abbi Glines (her buddy she was there for?)- you know, vicarious surrealism...
