okay,we have 35 chapters and about 340 pages....

5 chapters is about 50 pages
do we want to come back that often or maybe kick it out to 10 chapters?

it's interesting, this undercurrent to the story about slavery. I'm interested to see where this is going.

I think that she is supposed to be 17, but I am not totally sure.

This M. Bernard is (view spoiler)[horrible. I would hate being told what to wear and how to style my hair and especially being followed with every move you make. What does he have against Buttercup that he will not let her keep the cat inside. It would drive me crazy living there. (hide spoiler)]

OMG!!! I looovvee Julie Kagawa!!! I think this has to be the best vampire/supernatural/paranormal book on the face of the planet!! It was awesome!! lol :)

If you loved this, I promise you e sequel will blow you away! I know it's hard to believe, since book 1 is so good, but it is 10 times better!

I can't believe (view spoiler)[that he would kill her cat. That was a hard scene to read, M. Bernard really is a cruel person. (hide spoiler)]

I like (view spoiler)[Reverend Mr. Stone so far he offered to help Sophie if she ever needed it. He seems good for her, but you know the Godfather would never let him near her he is very possessive of her (hide spoiler)]

I'm so glad (view spoiler)[ she's being good with the keys :) I know what he's hiding, based on the fairy tale re-telling, but I think this book might have a new slant on it...we'll see I'm sure! Mr. Stone (view spoiler)[ I absolutely love him! He is sweet and caring. But that can only mean bad things for him....No way Godfather would let her consort with HIM.

I really liked this book.

I knew (view spoiler)[ this wives were on the grounds because it's a re-telling of Bluebeard, and he killed his first wife. After that, he killed every wife that stumbled into the one room he told them not to go - the room where the other wives were.....
but I love the twist, but the sex room and the teeth and the hair - bernard really is twisted! EEESH! (hide spoiler)]

Gideon (view spoiler)[ omg the ball was so sad. I love that they got their HEA. I love that he will wait for her. They make me smile, they are so cute. And I really did like the MC. I thought she was strong in a subtle but constant way. I really liked her! (hide spoiler)]

I have never read Bluebeard (view spoiler)[so I had not known about the story. So I was glad to be surprised. I did have a feeling that he was hiding something in the church since he forbid her to go there. I know that sex room was so creepy, he was very twisted. (hide spoiler)]
