And there are some traditional publishers who are buying up some of these vanity presses. Keep your eyes open, Writers! You shouldn't have to pay someone thousands of dollars to publish your book. Not in this day and age.

Amen to that, Doug! I would advise anyone considering a vanity press to use that money to pay a freelance editor and cover designer first, self-publish, and see what happens.
