Loads of our favorite books have been made into films. Some were good, like Narnia and some were crud, like the Percy Jackson movie. Which book-film was your favourite?

I loved the Twilight Saga movies, Narnia's were good, Harry Potter, Hunger games was ok. I never got to see Percy Jackson..but I'm looking forward to seeing City of Bones, Vampire Academy and I just heard theyre casting for Fallen by Lauren Kate.
Red Dragon by Thomas Harris is definitely my favourite. Usually when I watch a movie based on a book I hate it, they just never seem to measure up to the depth and detail that are in the book, but I would just as easily pick up the book or watch the movie in Red Dragon's case.
Harry Potter, Twilight, Soul surfer, The Blind Side, Charlie St. Cloud. There is another book series called Cirque De Freak with a movie but the book is WAY better than the movie.
I loved The Hunger Games! :D and i liked The Host ( To bad it didn't make enough money in box office. They wont be making another one.)
Hunger Games for sure! Twilight wasn't very good, of course. Harry Potter was good. I can't wait for Divergent, TMI, and soon to be TID movies!
I don't know Hollywood just screws it all. But I loved The Hunger Games and Twilight. And I'm hoping Hollywood doesn't screw Divergent
I loved The Green Mile, still can't make it through without crying, also LOTR, The hobbit, Harry Potter, Hunger Games.
I absolutely loved The Host! I still can't believe that both the book and the movie got bad reviews.
The first Harry Potter because it was the most accurate and To Kill a Mockingbird(I really hope they never remake that one!)
Gone with the wind, Lord of the rings, Hunger Games, Harry Potter(except the fourth part which was just plain horrible) and To Kill a Mockingbird. Oh, Hugo was amazing as well :)
Harry Potter, Inkheart, The Help, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Golden Compass (except the end), Life of Pi, and plenty more I can't remember at the moment. :)
hunger games , harry potter movies were alright, lord of the rings awsome (go kiwi films!!) narnia fisrt too were good last one was stupid,
yes, Narnia, awesome, LOtR, Harry Potter except for Order of Phoenix, it didn't do the book justice.Looking so forward to City of Bones! :D
and Vampire Academy next February! :D
I really loved the Hunger Games, the Host, and Perks of being a Wallflower. For the Hunger Games book to movie translation, I didn't think it was so bad! I try to appreciate the most of what the filmmakers accomplished, and although it could have been better, I still enjoyed it. (:I'm really looking forward to Divergent and Ender's Game!
I think the Twilight films are my favourite adaptions.I thought The Hunger Games and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower were really well done.
I loved The Host, which is funny because I actually didn't finish the book.
I disagree with "The book is always better than the movie"
Even though, yes, most of the time it is true.
I love adaptions because for me, I don't like wasting my time on a book that I know isn't going to hold my attention but will as a movie or tv show. (I'm looking at you, Game Of Thrones)
The Host was the best cause they did ALL the scenes and The caves(if ou read the book you know what I mean)were awesome they looked so real
I really liked the book-to-mivie adaptation of "I am Number Four"! But in not sure if they're making movies for the rest of the books! :(
I like it when they can stick to the book as much as possible, and there aren't many that do. Lord of the Rings was definitely well done. But I think probably the best I've ever seen AND read the book was Holes. Hunger Games got pretty close but just didn't quite capture the entire essence of the book. Percy Jackson was by far the worst book to movie adaptation ever.
Tonight I went to see City of Bones movie and it was really well done!! I mean you can't put all the book into like 2 hours movie so of course you have to cut some parts. But all necessary parts are in it. All the actors are perfect for their roles, music, action, kiss, greenhouse scene. I think it was definitely one of the best book to movie adaptation.
I'm going to have to go with How to Train Your Dragon. Oh...and can't wait until City of Bones comes out here in Switzerland!!!!!!!
