Simply Love question

Hello. I just signed up for goodreads.com because I have been reading a lot of the discussions about people looking for specific romance novels to read. I have finished reading Simply Love and loved it!!! Now, I need help to find a similar book. Or if not, please give me suggestion of historical romance books that you have read that meet these criteria. I am looking for romance books in which the heroine is plain-looking, plain everything, but her heart is so pure (not innocence, just a good hearted woman) that the hero begins to fall in love with her. To add more depth to her character, maybe she is poor, hardworking, and good with people. I really hate romance book that begins with the hero trying to get into the heroine's pants. That should come much later like the second half of the book. The first half should be about them getting on each other's nerves because of their differences but later, they begin to see eye to eye and fall in love. Thus, even if heroine is plain, hero begins to see her as beautiful and becomes possessive/jealous (I don't want the ugly duckling transformation to swan thing. I want a book where heroine is still plain but in hero's eyes, she is beautiful) I really love books where the hero is soooo freaking jealous of the heroine--this gives me butterfly! I know, I am asking for a lot and there might not be a book that have everything I had asked for. Give me what you got!
