Great book list. And now Twilight? Are you reading the saga for the first time, or re-reading?EDIT: What did you think of Violin? It looks interesting.

Thanks, Aprile. Yes now twilight. Reading it for the first time. I finally succumbed to all the hype due to an offer in a local book shop. kept putting it off as wasn't sure i would like it due to the YA genre but as it turns out i did . . . . read it in one afternoon! I've just ordered the rest of the saga from amazon so they will no doubt be next on the list!
Violin was good - very dark and quite depressing but still a good read. I'm biased though as love Anne Rice. read nearly all her books.
That's what I did too. I wasn't sure about Twilight, so I read a bit in a book store, and decided to buy it. I ordered the rest after I was about 1/2 way through, and then started the book again so that I would waste some more time before they came. I love them!I saw Violin on your list and thought I might like it, so I grabbed it from the library yesterday, so I am glad you liked it, hopefully I will too!
I hope you enjoy violin. It is very introspective and quite dark leaving you feeling like you are lost in someone else's grief and suffering at times. Apparently it is loosely based on the life story of Anne Rice (except for all the supernatural elements of course!) which is why it appealed to me.I absoutely loved Twilight and am now waiting very impatiently for the next three to arrive. Delivery from amazon tomorrow tho so social life on hold and i'll be locked up with Bella and Edward for the next few days!

Jennie wrote: "17 The Gargoyle"I absolutely loved this book!! Seemed like such a weird idea for a plot, but was so uplifting!!
Loved it too. borrowed this from my sister purely because i was intrigued by the cover. very gothic. excellent!
28 Dance of the Gods by Nora Roberts29. Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts
30. Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts
31. The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho
Hey Jennie, what did you think of The Witch of Portobello? I'm thinking of grabbing that soon. Good list! :) I loved the Nora Roberts trilogy you just read, one of my favorites of hers.
Very good book. written in the form of memories from other people so different narrators throughout which i thought might make it a bit disjointed but not at all. All in i really enjoyed it - read it in 24 hours which is normally a good sign. Also loved the nora roberts trilogy - good story. i only discovered Nora Roberts when i read Birthright which i also loved so looks like i have a new author to catch up on!
I don't love all of Nora's work, I don't read her more romance driven stuff and I have yet to get into her ghostwritter J.D. Robb. The ones I've loved are The Three Sisters Island, Circle and Sigh of Seven trilogies. Sign of Seven being my favorite so far, really good and creepy! :)Thanks, I'm going to go pick that book up as soon as I can!
