I thought I'd review the stories as I finish them...anthologies are hard to encompass. I bought this book because of Tj Klune, whose work I love. The first story is by Klune's boyfriend, Eric Arvin, and I must say, I seem to be starting an angel fixation.

But this story is set in a mythical rural America, in a small town imprisoned by fear of a demon. It is really a simple story - about the young hunter who finds the fallen angel, and with his simple, gentle love manages to change the world. It is clearly an allegory, but I didn't bother to try to figure out of what. It was a pleasure to read Arvin's lovely prose.
