Fans of Interracial Romance discussion

I was looking for more historical romance novels that featured heroines that look like me. I found a list on amazon and saw that Beverly Jenkins has written quite a few that have some great reviews. Has anyone read the historical romance series?

Any other authors that have series/ novels similar to hers? They don't have to be IRR. Thanks!

Ms Jenkins books are very good... They are just now putting them in ebooks... Give me your email I have a couple in ebook... I have most of her books in paperback...

I'll probably invest in getting some in paperback for the covers alone. Nice to see such high ratings though.

OMG.... I LOVE Beverly Jenkins historical romance novels. She also writes romantic/suspense that are just as good as her historicals. To name a few , , . Michelle, you won't be disappointed reading her books.

Thanks for that info Tracey. I don't know where I've been that I haven't read anything by her yet. Thankfully, I've taken my head out of the sand, LOL!

I really enjoy Beverly Jenkins historicals. My favorite by her is Indigo. I've gotten behind on them, but I continue to buy her books.

I just downloaded a sample of NIGHT HAWK, because it came recommended. It seems good so far.

I'm a huge BJ fan also. I've read most of her historical. They are well-written and uplifting. It ain't easy to make America's slave history the setting for good romances, but she does it while being accurate in her research. *smile*

I've seen her a few times too and she's always great to her fans.

Yes! I saw that she has a new book coming out this month. I recently finished , and I loved it.

For anyone who hasn't read it is .99 at Amazon, B&N, and AllRomance. Don't know how long it will last because it has been on sale for a couple of weeks but it's a great price for a Beverly Jenkins book (even though her books are well worth paying full price!).

I truly appreciate the writing style, Beverly Jenkins. It has a bit of everything that I'm looking for in a romance novel. First it's a romance novel secondly there is a strong female black heroin there's always a strong black alpha male and I always learn something about my black history when I read her books excellent all-around. <3

Yesssss indeed i agree !! Beverly Jenkins is super talented Woman. Ms.Jenkins has the ability 2 educate U though her wonderful & magnifecent Reads but its NOT school it give so much incrediable life!! Its fun through n through. U R there throughly viewing, retaining ever single drop . Now that super cool. Im in awe of Ms Jenkins talents my goodness she gives u a window to the pass wowwww! I can never thank her or express how apprecitve & Proud iam of her educating me on history. Iam sooooo deeply touched by the beauty of her work even the hurtful truths of the pass but all n all most importantly Love ,strength,heart & soul of abeautiful Black people survives & immortally lives in black history pass n present . These people continues 2 raise me up gives me hope. I have such a deep rooted love for them.Yes,the 4fathers shall always b n my heart..!!
