How was he the one playing mind games when she was the one who made most of the moves on him when no one was looking, then act like a complete stranger when they were back in this hell hole commonly known as Salem High. Sure, he would flirt around with her and maybe play along with the whole thing, but that was only because that's who Ben was. He wasn't one to hide behind his emotions. Well not completely. At school, (the first few days after it happened) he tried to talk to her, only to be given the cold shoulder before he got the message. A social peasant like him didn't belong with the social princess. It just wouldn't work. Not in public at least.

But that was then, this was now. For once in his life Ben was going to be serious, or as serious as he could get. (There was only so much he was willing to do. And he wasn't willing to put himself 100% on the line). "If you want an apology, then you shall get the grandest of semi grand apologies." Turning her around and holding her hand he got down on one knee. "Please accept my offering of peace with this..." He looked around for a minute before grabbing a random bottle of chemicals "...bottle of, uh, Cha-ree-lical-something and forgive me for what had happened in the library."

The sound of the heartbeat racing caused Dex to smile to himself. Oh that wasn't the sound of just any old heartbeat. That was the sound of a human heartbeat. A very scared human heartbeat. He could practically hear the breathe of the human as they hid. Now where were they hiding? His eyes scanned over the dark chambers. No doubt the human had hid after hearing his footsteps down the hallway.

"Come out, little human. I promise not to hurt you." Well not too badly.... Dex smiled as he moved towards the large ornate ebony desk in the room.

His footsteps were deafening on the cold cobblestone flooring and he could hear the human's breathing becoming shallower as fright and panic took over. The occasional skipping of a beat. It was a marvelous sound, truly a wonderful sound indeed. Rather than drag things out, Dex took two long strides and leaned over the desk.

A slow smirk crossed his features as the human girl looked up. Bright locks of flaming red hair framed her face, her eyes wide and as large as that of a newborn fawn. The blue of her eyes was deep enough to drown in and she was truly breathtaking.

"Hello, Darling."

At the sound of his voice the girl fell backwards and attempted to scoot away from him. It was pointless really, Dex didn't really physically chase after women. He preferred it when they came to him. Sitting on the desk he twisted so his body was facing hers. Crossing his arms over his chest he shrugged.

"You know that I'm not dangerous. So why do you run? I obviously won't chase you, my darling Ariel."

At those words the girl stopped. It was almost as if she remembered him. And she did. Years ago, he was the one that had saved her and her sister from the vampire. And now? Now here he was again, as if by chance. She froze, watching him with her dark eyes, as though waiting for the monster in him to surface.

"You remember me? Good. It's always so incredibly taxing when they forget about me. Makes me feel sad inside."

Dex paused long enough to pull a pouting face. She was so innocent. So believing, as though he wouldn't hurt her. Stupid girl.

Before a scream could even leave her lips, his dagger had implanted itself in her throat. Her scarlet blood running down her pale neck, her light pink frosted lips becoming red with her own blood. Slidding of the edge of the desk he walked over, crouching by the now kneeling vixen.

Taking her body into his arms he held her in a cradel like hold. As though he was lulling her to sleep.

"Sleep well my firey haired angel. Sleep well."

As her breath stopped Dex touched her eyelids briefly, enough to shut them and then he continued to hold her body. His mind was empty as he held her, his face tender and caring, as though he had loved her. She was his one true love. That's why he had to kill her. He couldn't stand to watch her suffer in a world where she had to fear even him, the one person who had protected her.

Hours later he finally stirred. Carrying her body out of the darkened chambers. Now would come the taxing part of burrying her. Of finally saying goodbye to Blaire Hollands. (hide spoiler)] MUWAHAHAHA!

There was no reason for her to try to hide them from him, it was too late for that anyways, and even if she did try, he would simply stop her. It would have been a little odd to her possibly, but Arrow really liked her hair. Yes, yes, strange. He knows. No, it wasn’t gay, a straight guy could admire a girl’s hair because it was a part of her beauty; long healthy hair appealed to him, which was natural to some extent. Right? Arrow paused for a moment, but pushed those thoughts to the side to focus on other things instead. Things such as her scent.

Wait, what?

Well, it wasn't that strange. After all, Arrow was very close to her in the physical sense in that moment, so it was only natural to catch a whiff of that sickly sweet smell of hers, which he kind of liked though he would never admit aloud. The closer he was, the more he was intoxicated by it, surprisingly enough. It was sweet, no surprise considering she was the brotherhood's personal sugarplum fairy, or at least that was how he saw it. Arrow was sure that there was something dark inside her, but he had yet to actually see it for himself, and until then, she was nothing more than his wholesome little kitty cat.

Keeping his arm around her, Arrow pulled her a little closer to him so that his chest was flat out pressing against her back. And there wasn't an ounce of shame weighing him down for his actions. He knew better than to tease a girl like this whilst alone in a room in an old building; however, it was all much to fun that there was no way he was going to stop anytime soon. Instead, another idea came to mind. Slowly, he pulled away from Cat, but he didn't move too far from her, not wanting her to relax right away because he was evil like that. He removed his arm from around her waist to pull off his mask again, setting it beside the keyboard face up before placing his hand back on her waist, his fingers brushing against the soft sensitive skin right below her stomach when her shirt rode up a little. The warmth of her skin against his cold fingers made him want to do many naughty things to her.

'I really need to have sex already. Need to focus again on what's important. This girl is not important. One good one night stand should make everything all better again.' Lincoln agreed with his brain, however he doubted that this little kitten was suited for a one night stand. Nah. She was probably the kind of girl who was in it for the long haul--something Lincoln had no interest in. Another girl perhaps? Linc would have to wait and see. But right now all he wanted to do was have some fun with Cat right now.

Openly smirking, he placed his lips by her ear and whispered, "Is that so Kitten? Am I allowed to find out? Or is it some big secret?" Tauntingly, Lincoln gently rubbed that little bit of skin that was exposed to his fingers, not quite venturing further under her shirt like most guy would because Linc was still a gentleman...sort of. He walked into the room.

(view spoiler)[The day had been an interesting day, definitely interesting. There were a million things on Lucious's mind, and he wasn't sure which ones to focus on. All the thoughts seemed to swim around his head in incoherent clumps, storm clouds swirling across the sky of Lucious's mind. There was a bit of stress on his shoulders, one could say, which was exactly why he came to the auditorium of all places. It was highly unlikely to be occupied at the moment, plus it provided a large open space; both qualities making it a desirable locations to think about things.

The first thing that came to mind as he sat on the edge of stage was a single word, or name I should say. Damien. Smiling, friendly, sweet, and not to mention gorgeous, Damien. This was quickly followed by the words 'unreachable' and 'impossible', for that's all Damien was and ever will be for Lucious, and therefore thinking about the guy would get him nowhere. It doesn't matter how much Lucious's heart yearned for a romantic relationship, because his mind wouldn't let it happen. Damien was one of his more simple issues.

It was what on his mind when he had bumped into Damien that was truly vexing Luc, but at least here in the auditorium he couldn't get distracted and end up tripping on air. It was about his parents, the ones who always looked at him with skeptical uncaring eyes. Even when Lucious was a kid, they weren't very into the idea of showing love and affection to him, not even close. Though they never said it out loud to him, he knew that he was both unwanted and a disappointment to them. That was why they sent him away to live with his aunt. Now they were coming for a 'visit', which you might guess Lucious was pretty thrilled about. "Joyful" he said out loud to the invisible audience.

Beyond these, there was also the slight issue at hand having to do with rumors and the whole popularity thing. Because of his little mistake earlier, when he logged on Twitter he found himself with a bucket load of rumors and 'eye-witnessed' accounts. They weren't very big, and not even the most troublesome rumors he had ever seen, but it was the fact that he had let his guard down so easily that annoyed him. And just for a cute guy, Luc scowled at himself. Then because of his lack of attention to what was happening around him, it wasn't until Lucious once again connected himself to the world of wi-fi that he found at all that had happened today. And apparently a lot of drama had happened, it was all so very much that he would have to deal with. Later, Lucious planned on giving Alexis a visit.

Lucious let out a loud groan of discontent. There was just so many things to think about, and so many issues that Lucious just didn't have the energy to deal with them all let alone think about them. This was the real reason why he had come to the auditorium, because Luc has found that when he was the most stressed the best medicine for him to relieve himself was quite simple. Dancing. So really, the auditorium was the only possible location for Lucious to go to at the moment.

Standing up, Lucious put earplugs in his ears and turned his music up to full volume and closed his eyes. To block out his thoughts, to block out his worries, to overwhelm his mind. Lucious stood there feeling the music flow through him until everything else seemed distant...

And then he began to dance.

Lucious has been taking dance classes every since he was a little toddler, it was one of the few things he could convince his parents to do for him. Plus it kept him busy and out of their way. He didn't quite care though what their reasons were to put him into dance classes, he loved to dance and that was that. Up on the stage Lucious danced with his eyes closed and ears filled with the music from his ipod, everything else had become irrelevant to him. The whole school could suddenly barge into the auditorium and he wouldn't notice, unless of course he opened his eyes, but other then that Luc was in his own little world at the moment.

If someone did, by chance, wander into the auditorium and watch him dance- however completely unlikely that was- they could easily see the peace and joy on his face and in every movement. It was quite obvious to one that this was a person who was danced as if it was mere breathing to him, each movement of Lucious's was graceful and practically flawless to all but the most of discerning of eyes. And on this empty stage in front of a invisible audience, Lucious danced his heart out.

People may not realize it, but dancing is a very difficult sport that requires a great deal of skill and endurance. Yes, dancing around does make someone tired rather quickly. Some professional football players are even required to take dance to help their plays, food for thought. Whatever people thought or said about dance to Lucious, he didn't care, because they were obviously ignorant. This was what Lucious loved doing, this was his passion, and anyone who dared challenge his passion in life, they best be ready to get burned.

Luc collapsed to the ground, arms wide with a hint of a grin on his face. Feeling a bit sweaty now, after dancing for a while, Lucious was a little tired. On the bright side, all the stress was gone from his mind, and now he was more level headed and calmed. Ready to deal with life and high school, and hopefully ready to take on annoyingly cute guys. With a deep breath and smile on his face Lucious sat up, it was only then that he noticed he had a visitor. (hide spoiler)]

She had left the door open...

and in through the door came Guy Greene. His blond hair was up in a faux hawk, his eyes were sparkling with the circles of newly purchased contact lenses, his clothes were fresh - not in the cool, hip way, but the clean, smelly way - and his neon blue headphones were wrapped around his neck, Imagine Dragons Radioactive booming out of the speakers. He was wearing light blue converse sneakers with the socks hidden in the shoes, blue jeans, and a tight shirt that showed off all his non-muscles.

When he walked in the door, all the heads turned... away. He was not the most popular person there, and he was fine with that. He did not enjoy most of the other people there either, but what he did enjoy was atmosphere and the music playing. He actually liked the music so much he turned his own off - this hardly ever happens! He kept walking through the door, noticed the drinks table, and walked over. The smell of alcohol wafted above it like a thick smog of cough medicine. He searched for the one that looked either the most colorful or the least. He found a lovely red on the corner and sipped it. It wasn't so much horrid as it was strong. It was like a cherry had gotten drunk at a party, thrown up in his mouth and then had some sort of anal discharge thrown in. Okay, maybe it was awful, but it smelled the least alcoholic besides a clear one on the corner that he guessed was water... mixed with vodka, probably caramel by the smell. God, that stuff was awful; starts out with a nice caramel smell... and then BAM! the vodka burns your throat. Ugh.

He kept sipping his drink, his mind slowly numbing as the drink fogged it up with fuzzy clouds. He wasn't a lightweight, but the cup was plenty big and very strong. One more full cup and he'd probably be 3/4 if not fully buzzed. He wandered upstairs, saw two people mid-coitus on the bed, left the door open when he left, and went back downstairs and sat and listened to the music. The song changed and he realized the music was not as good as he thought. He sighed and wandered toward the kitchen where he'd hopefully see one of his friends. The people around him right now were just blurs. Faceless manikins that just flung themselves around at each other, drunkenly slobbering and snogging each other, laughing at nothing and shrieking because a new song came on.

(view spoiler)[ For a moment or two, Thea simply took him in from behind her feline mask, bright misty green eyes scanning over his facial features. He was attractive, that was for damn sure. The angles constructing the creature that was Arrow had somehow been built just so, in a way that seemed as though someone had spent a little extra time making sure everything aligned just right. It was a little off-putting, how utterly perfect he was. Like a Greek god, cold and detached while, from Mount Olympus, watching the mere little humans scramble to live their insignificant lives. But then again, maybe that was just the impression she got from looking in his beautiful blue eyes, the gaze that seemed to peer down at everyone like he wasn't quite sure why the mattered. It was enough to make her feel tiny in comparison: And not in the literal sense, though her small stature compared to his tall, lean frame didn't really help matters.

Her eyes fell over to the scar trailing down from the corner of his brow toward his strong jawline. She'd never particularly partial to marks of violence like that, but she hadn't had anything against them either. Somehow, it just added to Arrow's mystery. A part of her was curious as to its back story: What could have possibly happened to cause such a mark? Curiosity killed the Cat. The saying was a bit too much like foreshadowing for comfort. She tore her gaze away from him, not wanting to come off as gawking. Or rude. Or both. Hearing his obviously offended response, she smiled slightly, her eyes the only thing giving away her expression. "That's not exactly what I meant, Ar." The nickname slipped past her lips without her giving it much thought and she blinked, as if someone else had said it.

From her perch leaned over toward the computer, she twisted toward at his question after he set his mask back over his face. A part of her was almost -almost- disappointed. The view had been quite nice before. "I-Uhm." She flushed from under her mask, clearly fumbling for her words as her forest-colored gaze dropped. "You didn't have to put it back on due to my account." Her eyes remained on him for a second before she turned back around to focus on the task at hand. Computer. Huh. Right. Clicking a few buttons, the machine started back to the main screen and she typed in the password. "You don't have to stay up here with me, you know that, right? This could take away and watching me can't be the most entertaining thing in this whole cabin." She was only half-aware of what she was saying as she continued to type, nibbling on her lip from under her mask. The Brotherhood password had always been some complex thing and it took almost her complete concentration just to type out right. After a few tries, Thea finally managed to successfully type it in and she tapped her fingers against the desk. Waiting for the ancient dinosaur to finally decide it was done loading.

Thea froze from her position in front of him, the picture of a startled rabbit, as he whispered in her ear. She swallowed, her heart beating about a thousand times per minute. What was it about Linc that did this to her? Seriously, this was ridiculous. Her breath hitched a little, feeling him brush up against her back and she shifted slightly on her feet. The board from under her combat boots groaned a little, hinting at just how old this cabin was. "Well," Trying to think past the rushing of her ears, she glanced over her shoulder up at him. Her green eyes clashed with him, so close she could practically count the specks of darker blue in his irises. "I once revived an old flip phone. It was one of those ancient Razors and everyone kept insisting it was a lost cause but. . ." She was barely aware of the words rambling past her lips. Was the room suddenly hot? Or was that just her? "And then my little brother's old Playstation kept overheating. I mean, it wasn't a major problem, just something to do with the internal fans, but none of the stores were willing to try and fix it. You know, because it was so old?" What the hell, Thea? My God, just shut up. She flushed again from under the mask and started to pull away from him, pressing a bit closer to the desk. The board under her feet moaned again and she could feel it dip down under her weight. (hide spoiler)]

I have the urge to post the longest post I've ever typed, because I really can't bring myself to select a totally random one, and I don't believe I have a best so...
(view spoiler)[When the news about Kayaba Akihiko's little experiment came out, Kazuko was likely the only person not to panic or even be troubled by the recent development. Instead she shifted to the edge of the mass of the people in the town square and slipped away during the chaos that ensued. In fact, if anyone had payed any attention to the teenage girl with long brown hair they might have noticed a slight smile that formed on her features. Oh, the adrenaline rush she'd felt when she'd heard the news. Really, for a girl who was bored out of her mind in the real world, this was a breath of fresh hair for her. Sure, she'd been praying to discover that she had inherited magic or something of the sort from a distant relative, but being stuck in a video game seemed good enough for the moment.

After combing though the forest several times, sticking to the shadows and picking off the weaker creatures, she finally stopped to rest, retrieving a few berries she recognized as edible from her inventory. Well, she couldn't quite say that they were edible, but she knew for a fact that they weren't poisonous. For once though it seemed she hit a lucky break and they tasted a rather lot like raspberries. However, as she was eating, she suddenly felt as if there was someone watching her, not a human either.

Drawing her knife and stocking the berries quickly back into her inventory, she crouched low, prepared to deal with this mysterious stalker. With all her hunting she'd managed to gain a few good levels. However, what she saw next, Kazuko was not prepared for. From the bushes sprang a pack of foxes, but not any ordinary foxes, for they had tails of numbers varying from one to five. Gritting her teeth, the girl gripped her knife harder, unsure of how to deal with this situation.

"An entire pack against one player? You guys can hardly call that fair," she told the monsters, not expecting an actual answer, but to her surprise, a fox larger than all the rest, with nine tails at that, sprang out from behind the rest, with eyes filled with an alarming amount of intelligence.

"Very well, human, if you choose to question what is fair, I will challenge you, one on one. Should you manage to get my health to half a bar before I finish you off, they will leave, and I shall accompany you on your journey," announced the creature, ordering its companions back with a flick of its tail. It then stepped forward, baring it pale teeth in a snarl, with which Kazuko responded by drawing a second dagger.

What happened next was a bit of a blur, the battle seeming to only be a mix of orange fur, snarls, daggers clashing against claws, and the blur of an extremely long, brown pony tail zipping this way and that. Kazuko's health was dropping rapidly, while the fox's bar was still about three-fourths full. On the other hand, Kazuko did still have half a bar left, so there was a chance for her to survive. However, when the battle raged on and Kazuko was only a few points away from death, it was truly time for the tide to turn. Launching herself at the wolf, under the knowledge that no matter how it was landed, one more blow would finish her off, she made a last ditch effort to win the fight. After all, her adventure had just begun, she couldn't die just yet. With a bit of lucky positioning, this attack emptied the fox's health till it was almost as low as her own and they collapsed alongside each other, the onlooking monsters too astonished to even breath. Nonetheless, this animal had one more surprise in store.

Sitting up, it began to lick its wounds, rapidly regenerating health till the gauge was completely full and Kazuko was sure that the creature would go back on its word, slaughtering her. However, it did no such thing, but rather did the same for her, regenerating all the energy the battle had cost her within a few minutes, and a while, no one spoke.

In the end, it was the fox who spoke, "Very well, human, you have proved yourself worthy, and I, Kirara, shall serve alongside you in the battle to come, tending you wounds, and assisting in the slaughter of your enemies. My kin, on the other hand, shall leave you in peace, though I cannot speak for all the inhabitants of this wood." With this short monologue the other wolves took their leave, Kazuko staring after them for a bit before turning back to her new friend.

"Thank you, honorable Kirara. I'm Kazuko, and welcome your assistance," smiled the girl, rather pleased by the way the tides had turned. She now had at least one friend by here side, two if she could find Miyuki, who seemed no where to be found, and both of them she trusted with all her heart. After all, Miyuki was a childhood friend, while Kirara had already received the opportunity to kill Kazuko, but hadn't. Therefore, there didn't seem to be any reason to worry about her.

After the initial introductions Kirara and Kazuko wandered the forest for quite a while, both searching for the girl's lost friend, as well as beasts to hunt. Additionally Kazuko was also trying to map out as much of the forest as possible, so that she'd be able to have the advantage should anyone attempt to attack her. Strangely enough, it seemed they'd traveled so far into the vast forest of floor one that no one else appeared before them, or at least not for what seemed like ages. Eventually though, they did spot a group of people, four it seemed, unless someone was concealed from sight. However, judging by the way they were all engaged in watching one of them battling a boar, it didn't seem to be so.

Noticing that way that the guy with the dreadlocks struggled against the beast, Kazuko's conscious tugged her to jump in and help out. It was an urge that she'd inherited from Miyuki, and it seemed that she despised it as much as she loved it. After all, without listening to her conscious, sometimes Kazuko found herself drifting away from the humanity within herself, and the painful emotions that came with it, but it'd gotten her into a pickle more than once. Nonetheless, after the boy drank the potion, Kazuko stepped aside for the time being. She'd hate to get in the way, but if he needed help, she'd be there to provide it. (hide spoiler)]
