Walking through the Foyer, Ariella had to practice extreme patience as not to punch her "Critique" in the face. Due to her latest form if disobedience to her parents, they had subjected her to lessons on etiquette and manners. If only she could have kept her mouth shut at the dinner table... Explaining to them that she knew how to be proper but choose to be otherwise was a lost cause. Like seriously, never try to reason with the Basinette family. The whole lot of them nod in agreement as you speak, but in truth they hear nothing but a faint buzz in their agenda.
She looked down at the long, form fitting dress yet again and held back a snarl--the dress had been chosen special to irritate her because she hated been on time. That was only a little her fault... Vince... yeah... Ariella didn't even want to think about the things under it--heels. "Can I have a break to myself for a moment, I feel faint." She said abruptly, moving towards the stairs without waiting for a reply for the teacher. Ugh. He had a nasally voice she couldn't move fast enough away from.

It was by pure chance Ariella was able to disguise her complete disgust. She didn't commonly hide her expression so easily when she was caught of guard... and yeah, I think it's safe to assume Ariella was surprised by the sudden appearance of her least favorite noble. Cammy. She looked down yet again, wishing she was wearing something else. She almost preferred wearing a ball gown--at least that type of dress would leave more to the imagination.
Needless to say, she didn't wink back. Ariella instead moved to step out of his way, getting as close to the railing as she could--nearly leaning over what one would consider the safety-zone. She just didn't want to be close to him, she felt as if he was so repulsive he carried his own plague spread through physical contact. The bubonic Cameron... yeah, that sounded about right.

Ariella's eyes widened, surprised yet again by Cameron's actions. Did he not understand the concept of personal space and when you weren't being invited into it? She would have thought the whole moving-away-into-the-rail-as-to-avoid-touching-you-on-the-wide-staircase would have been explanatory enough. Evidently, it wasn't. Well then, if that's the way he preferred it. Ari had always suspected Cammy to be more of a hands-on learning type of guy, now he was getting his opportunity. Lucky him.
She felt him press against her, looming closer. Did he not expect her to fall over the railing? Of course not--he wanted her to lean into him, feel safer near his presence. As if. Ariella felt the railing of the stairs at her lower back and she pictured what it might look like, the scene she was imaging in her head. She wasn't going to fall like she had over the bridge--she was going to think things through and make sure if there was a risk of anyone falling, it wouldn't be her. Ari pulled on the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer into herself--probably the exact opposite of what he had been expecting. "Is that your subtle way of asking me out?" she questioned, shifting her legs, still getting closer to him.

Was Ariella disappointed she wasn't being asked out? Hell no. It just went to prove her point, he was interested in nothing of a girl's personality attributes--he was focused upon what made them girls--genitalia. "I'm not going to lie," she remarked, her voice hiding her smile, "I'm disappointed." On what she was unhappy about, she'd leave him to guess. Of course his mind was deep in the gutter, so it would probably be of explicit content. Innocent girls would probably burn on the cross for having the thoughts Cameron did... that is what Ariella suspected at least, she tried not to imagine the actually thoughts themselves. Needless to say, he was a turn and a half pasted dammed.
"You think this is me attempting?" she laughed, the tone of her voice genuine. "I think it's cute you believe me to be so naive."
Almost as if some reminder went off in her mind, Ari shifted again--this time closing her eyes for a millisecond. She pushed up on Cameron's chest and he floated off of her like she knew he would. Props of defying physics, as Vince might have put it. Cammy was now moving towards the ceiling and there was nothing he could do about it--his well-being now rested in the hands of Ariella, since she was the one that had pushed him skyward after depriving him of gravity. "Wow, that's a really unappealing angle of you, Cam." she commented, looking up at him with an amused expression.

"Believe it or not, Cammy. Some still believe that somewhere deep inside of you, there's still some remembrance of former decency." Of course she had said some, not all--and most certainly not her. Like she had mentioned before, Ariella wasn't as naive as he believed her to be. She wasn't innocent, contrary to how he might view her. Though how he had reached that conclusion in the first place, she still wasn't sure.
As she watched him, Ariella couldn't help but smile. He was having fun, how amusing. She wasn't even smiling vindictively... she was actually, on some level, happy he was happy. Probably because he was getting enjoyment out of something other than staring at one-or multiple-parts of her body. "Enjoy it now, the higher you go, the harder your fall. Nothing lasts forever, Cammy. Especially not defiance of gravity." She paused, almost contemplating something. "You're a little on the heavy side." Not to mention her accident earlier had drained her energy a tad...

"That's why I consider it false hope, Love."
Ariella had a small dizzy spell and Cammy dipped a couple of feet before she was able to get ahold of him again, it took her vision a moment to come back--her gaze flickering between Cammy's expression and pitch black darkness. She looked away from him, focusing on the stairwell instead. She wouldn't want him to see the concern on her features... why did that exhaust her so fast? Maybe he was in fact heavier than she anticipated... not to mention he was drifting up a little far. That was probably why she was having difficulties. Not because she was ill-equipped or anything...?
Glancing up at him, Ari let him drop another ten feet--now he was a mere arms length away from her. He might have actually reached out, had the drop not caused him to turn in circles. Ariella wouldn't be surprised if he puked, it had happened to her the first couple of times she'd used her ability. "Brace yourself." she said, only giving him a moments notice before dropping him on the landing. She wasn't going to drop him on the stairs themselves, that would just be rude. It was much more polite to discard him on a flat surface.
She didn't pause as she walked past him, she simply stepped over his middle like he didn't exist.

Not bothering to look back, Ariella lifted up her dress all ladylike and went back up the stairs feeling better about today's events than she had before. At least now she had something to think about during the stupid lesson--Cameron's face as he laid on the ground in what she could only assume was pain... which she had caused. Ari smiled as she ascended the last couple of stairs, meeting the eyes of her teacher perfectly content.
"What was that noise?" he asked, glancing over the banister.
Ari shrugged. "I think someone fell."
