Keep in mind, this is an Arranged Marriage society. It is the common thing for your parents to pick your significant other, you do not object. This is a time where you actually listen to your parents. Some can be more understand, allowing you to have a voice in the matter--others aren't.
You marry when the female is at the age of 21, it has become a tradition through time. Marriages are arranged between Classes. Nobles marry Nobles and Servants marry Servants--that's how it is. Relationships between classes are looked at as a scandal and a disgusting thing, it's a bit of a crime to have a relationship with anyone outside your class. Tis forbidden.
When arranging marriages, think about it realistically. Parents will be trying to set their child up with the best family that will further their own. See this topic for the social rankings to know where your family, or your future family, stands.
---
Social Ranks decorated with this symbol "♛" represents the rule that you need permission from a moderator to make a character of that social class--this is to keep Populations of the classes realistic.
The classes are as follows...
♛Grace Family Royals come first, Lassies and Lads.
Royal Guard I'm sure you're aware who these people are. Not exactly popular with the people.
♛Nobles These are popular political figures that deal with most of the Governmental issues... the Royal family oversees their actions and pick the cabinet personally.
♛Intellects The teachers, instructors, medical fields, and scientists.
Merchants Those who run the businesses.
Farmers The food source.
Craftsmen The builders of architecture and weaponry.
Servants Those who are under the command of others. This is the last resort of people who hit rock bottom--jobs in this field are always open, so this is the lowest of the low. Those who don't make it in the Performing District often fall to this category, hencewhy Performers are viewed in the same fashion--at the bottom.
ɪɴɴᴇʀ ᴠɪʟʟᴀɢᴇ This is the place of the upper-class people. The shops are higher end and more expensive, so you commonly won't find the average merchant here.
ᴛᴏᴡɴ sǫᴜᴀʀᴇ This is the hustle and bustle of Porcelain Glass. Even at night its streets aren't completely empty. At any time there's usually some type of event happening here, it's where all the different classes mingle.
ᴏᴜᴛᴇʀ ᴠɪʟʟᴀɢᴇ This is the manual labor side of the village. It's mostly populated by the lower class and it shares the business of the Town Square.
ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴜᴀʀᴅ This is the area of town mostly populated by the Royal Guard, or people who intend to join its force when turning the age of nineteen. Since its the gathering of a bunch of superior jerks, most common civilians don't stray too far inside the invisible boundary--as not to run into a drunk guard looking for an easy target.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴀᴄᴀᴅᴇᴍʏ These grounds are mostly compromised of students and teachers. No one else really strays to this area, the guards here are more relaxed than anything--commonly parents.
ғᴀʀᴍɪɴɢ ᴅɪsᴛʀɪᴄᴛ No high-socialite in their right mind would stray far into this distract. It's full of the laborers, probably irritated from a long days work. It might just be worth it though, the view is sort of special around this area.
ᴘᴇʀғᴏʀᴍɪɴɢ ᴅɪsᴛʀɪᴄᴛ A lot of traffic comes through here, some people question its relevance though... hence why it's mostly composed of people who value the arts. Those who don't look at it as a waste of good space.
ᴛᴇᴄʜ. ᴅɪsᴛʀɪᴄᴛ Otherwise known as the genius commerce. If you want intellectual conversations, this is where you'll find yourself spending time. Although some people avoid it because the guard spends an interesting amount of time around the area--wonder why?
ʜᴏᴍᴇs The high income homes are rather spaced from each other and closer to the castle--as you work your way outwards from the Inner City, the houses become shabbier and less spaced.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴜᴛsɪᴅᴇ Nature in its prime. Furthest from the inner city, this area is comprised of the remaining fields and other landscape.
ᴛʜᴇ ɢʟᴀss ᴡᴀʟʟ Surrounding the entire land, this wall is so large and spaced you can't really see its ending point. It conceals the land well and is very strong, the architecture has been there for as long as anyone dead or alive can remember. This particular part of the wall seen from the city is closer than its opposing side, since the city is at once of its edges.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴜᴛsᴋɪʀᴛs The area opposite of the city. It's still located inside of the Glass Wall, but it's not close to the city. There's a lot land between the Wall and the City that is empty space. Most don't go there just because it's so mountainous--many don't know what lies behind those mountains; only that the wall is still there behind them... somewhere.
ғᴏʀᴛ ᴋɴᴏx Those who don't reside in the fort know nothing about its existence. The only way one find their way there is by assistance of a current resident. Not likely, hmm?
