Thanks! This is a very good list and I found another Joyce goodreader recommending the same texts.I am a little bit ahead, and, unlike Ulysses, so far I have found it necessary to read each and every page twice - once using the annotated text and once without. There is too much flow and melody in Joyce's prose to have any interruptions.
So five pages read twice each day plus Skeleton Key for me!
I've borrowed A Reader's Guide to Finnegans Wake from the library, but other than that I'm not planning to pore over a reference book like Annotations to Finnegans Wake, but rather go with the "Let the words wash over you" method, I think. No judgments on others' choices!
