In the end, I was confused. Did the Na Fir Ghorm call him or was it really Anna? Or is it just a mystery that is supposed to drive you crazy? Because if it was, it worked perfectly.

I think it could go either way, but I like to think it was Anna.
I think since they are bound together in the Otherworld, it is Anna waiting for him. Also, the Celtic god on the horse that met them on the beach said they would be together in the afterlife. I don't know much about Celtic mythology, but that's what I got from it. They'll be together forever and Anna was greeting him.
