Getting Lucky is a comedy about friendship, loyalty and the cruelty of fate. Also, there's a dog. It's a novella and so is a nice quick read, something to cleanse the palate between heavier tomes.

I really enjoyed the story. It was fun to read but it also made me think. I like how you incorporated the idea of intention (like attitude) can effect outcomes. It really did feel like the prologue to a longer story that leads from the streets to a homecoming.....the travel adventure in between ....so I have to ask are you planning on building from there?

I absolutely am planning on building out the story, I'm wrapping up a different novel as we speak and then I'm going to start working on the next part of the Lucky Beggar chronicles. I have lots of ideas as to where to take it next, he is certainly going to be heading towards home, but there's many an adventure to be had on the way ;)
