*Does awkward dance, with arms out* GOING FOR AN AIRPLANE RIDE.
Packing for church camp and doing chores...fun fun (not). I guess I'll be on GR a lot today when I'm supposed to be packing
I'm guessing you don't like them?
Oh. I think it would be kinda fun to learn another language
Oh yeah. That can totally mess up a class!
Yeah! Have fun at your party Jessy! Te amo mucho mi hermana!
Wow, sounds like everyone is having fun today :)I'm at work, working on these summer reading lists. I feel kind of sorry for the 10th graders here. They've got some really hefty books to read. It's good for them, haha, but still, if I was a 10th grader with this list, I'd be pretty intimidated. Surely the teachers tell them to pick like 3 of them and not all ... *counts* 17 listed here.
Meanwhile, I'm working on MY summer reading list ;) - so far I've got ...
the SWEEP series (suggested by Jessy)
The Future of Us (suggested by Mackenzie)
- anybody else want to suggest a book?
( FYI, I'm not a romance reader, but willing to try if you promise me it's good ^^ )
I'm gonna start the first SWEEP book on my way to church camp on Monday
Hopefully I can actually read with my friends in the car. They are very energetic but they're amazing
Lucky duck! I can't read in the car; I get motion sickness... so it's strictly audiobooks for me whenever my girlfriend and I go on a trip. Just curious, where are you from?
I'm in Amarillo, TX.
Norman, Oklahoma. It's just south of Moore
Wow! So you've had a bunch of excitement lately, huh? You guys didn't get hit with any of those tornadoes, did you? Tornadoes scare the shit out of me; well, any storm in general scares the shit out of me ._. ...
I went out for breakfast, and I don't have to get shots today! Woot change of plans. And now I'm just chillaxing and putting up a bunch of photos up <3
No. Last Friday it went less than a mile from my house. Our neighbour texted my mom and said that this person she was with had assured her that she wouldn't have a home when she got back so we were really surprised that our house was still there when we got home. But we are all safe, so that's good.

I'm gonna get a flying license.
I'm gonna get a flying license.
Yeah. Then In a few years I can fly around the world and country, and meet y'all.
It would be really fun to meet you!
Yep:) I have to wait several years before I'm old enough to get one, though.
I bet it'll be worth the wait! Have you ever been to Young Women's Camp?
Glad you are okay, Mackenzie, and even better your house is still standing!Kassi, that's amazing! - what kind of aircraft license?
No. Going this year. Last year we moved a lot and we moved before camp, and our new ward had already done it.
Thanks, Summer! Isn't Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle?

High...not sure! I wanna fly planes in general. Jets. Anything of the sort.

Oh ok. This is my first year so I was going to see if you had any packing advice. for me, its next week. Are you looking forward to going?
Yeah! Ummm....definitely be careful if you bring any treats. Don't leave them in the tent. If you do, rodents will chew through the tent to get to the food. Make sure to bring a pad or something to put under your sleeping bag rocks really hurt. Hmmmm....don't bring your best shoes, they'll get ruined hiking.
Thanks, Kassi! We have cabins this year but my sis says that a lot of bugs still got in last year.
Ahh....then most of that didn't help lol. I have cabins, but only the leaders get to stay in them. The rest of us....tents.
John! Remember sunblock and bug spray! Or you'll be eaten and burned. It hurts. I went camping and forgot both.
It's ok:D any suggestions for times to shower? There are only 4 showers for 150 girls and like 30 leaders
Ahh...thanks for reminding me about sunblock. They forgot to put it on our packing list
Do it at night, before anyone else does. So that you won't just get dirty again, but you still have warm water.
Yup. No problem.
Yup. No problem.
Thanks:) is it really warm where you live?
Yes. In the summer it's boiling and in the winter it is freezing. Some years we have hot winters and snow in the summer.
First part is same here, but we've never got snow later than March. And that happened the day I was supposed to get baptized! Last year, it got up to 120 degrees at camp
Yeah. Oklahoma weather is just horrible!
Yeah, that's what old foster sis tells me. I'm guessing its pretty cold there right now?
Utah is weird. Even the weather man have problems predicting it.
Mackenzie wrote: "Thanks, Summer! Isn't Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle?"Yup, sure is.
Speaking of weather, Amarillo is the worst. I'm literally had to start my day in a blazer, by noon I'm in a tank-top and at the end of the day, I have my sweaters out.
Amarillo TX, all 4 seasons, all the time, because Texas is bonkers.
Oh wow. Here we just have 90 days of winter and then the rest summer
So, my friend Elyse sent me this link...http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
And I think it is really awesome. I'm going to try to do it :)
