Who or what would you like to see pitted against what? Starfleet's finest against Jedi? The Doctor against Paul Maud'Dib? Anakin Skywalker versus a threshing machine?

Hmmm... How about the Battle Star Gallactica crew against the Star Fleet Enterprise.

I would pay good money to see that.

What makes a showdown epic?

To be epic... It could be in a lot of ways, I suppose... as two opposing forces battle it out in a crazy, action filled way.

I also like the idea of two forces that serve the same purpose in theory... but which would do it better.

How about Gandalf versus Merlin? Going into fantasy realm, but I think that would be an awesome showdown...

I dunno, I think Gandalf would win that, actually. There's a lot of versions of Merlin, too. I really like the 'who wore it better' idea with superpowers!
