Debbie Kelly | 3 comments How many more books about this family do you plan on writing? I love books that have the same characters carried over.
What was your inspiration for these books? Did you draw from your own life at all?

Hi Debbie!
Thanks for the questions!! I plan on writing the love stories of each of the Hollingsworth children. So, the series should have at least five books, and possibly more if I write about other spin off characters. The first book came to me while I was on the treadmill, and then I continued to dream about it over and over. I definitely drew a lot of things from my own life. I ran cross country and track in high school and college, and most people that know me see a lot of themsevles in the characters! I hope you enjoy the series, and keep reading! Emerson's Fury should be out by the end of summer! Keep an eye out for some exciting give away's on Goodreads!

Debbie Kelly | 3 comments LB, tell us about your family - are any of your family members in the book or is it all fiction? Do you come froma family of writers?

Hi Debbie,
I do join local book clubs when I am invited, and I love it. I enjoy hearing the feedback from people that have read the books, and love the enthusiasm that they have for the story. I think that most of the characters are made up of all the qualities of the people that I love. So I would definitely say my family members are represented in the characters in the stories; however, it is absolutely fiction, and the characters are unique.

Hi Debbie,
I missed that last question. No writers in the family, but many artists are in my family. Everyone is very creative. My mother went to art school, and is very artistic. My sister owns a large soap company in New York and is extremely talented. My younger brother also lives in New York and is a graphic artist. He is very talented and designed the cover for Charlotte Untangled. I love it!! I also have three more siblings and they are also very crafty and talented as well!!

Kathleen | 3 comments Just finished Indy's awakening. It is my favorite so far. How soon until Finn's Forever? Also will you tie up all the families stories since you said it would be the last in the series?

Yes, I hope to tie up all the loose ends for each character in Finn's Forever, as it is the last book in the Hollingsworth Series. Kathleen | 3 comments HI Laura,
It is so nice to hear right back from an author. I love your books. I am patiently waiting for Finn's Forever, but to tell you the truth I don't want the series to end. I hope you come out with another series. I love your style of writing!!!

Thank you so much, Kathleen! That means a lot to me! I'm so happy to hear that you have enjoyed the series, and I will be sad to see it come to an end also. I'm taking my time rereading Finn's Forever, because I think I'm apprehensive about it coming to an end also!! Yes, I plan to write another series, but am looking forward to writing something completely different!!
