Tex (Texd) | 29 comments Imagine watching a three hour long movie never knowing that one of your favourite character would not survive the ending- it hurts so much. I cried my eyes out whenever I re-watched Titanic.

message 11: by Riya (new)

Riya Exactly. Tragic endings are always so powerful- books, movies, anything.

Natalie (Never trust a duck) IKR! thats what i say every time i see the movie. Rose wasn't fat, its not like she took up the whole board

If she'd taken off that stupid, soaking wet dress that probably weighed a billion pounds, maybe Jack would've lived. God forbid she should be NAKED. 'Cuz you know, she's so shy about that.

LOL i am laughing so hard right now

message 18: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Harris | 64 comments Tis' no laughing matter, Gabs. This is an intense controversial plot element that greatly affected the outcome of the story. I mean, I had plans for Jack. We were going to get married, have kids, and move to Montana. WHAT NOW?!?!?!?!! WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY LIFE?!?!?!

Natalie (Never trust a duck) When rose lets him drown I was like "You couldn't have saved his body? You had to not only let him freeze to death but now you let him drown?!?! Pull yourself together Rose!"

If you think about it, If Rose had stayed on the lifeboat instead of jumping off, Jack would not have to die becuase HE would have gotten to the plank.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Truthfully, I find this movie lame now that I watch it. Previously, I loved it, but now it seemed lame. Of course, 3D totally mends that up!

we real lit can learn a lot from this piece of maritime history.

(1. Why didn't the evil fiancée dieee?! >>:OO!!!!!
(2. Why didn't Jack just go find a different piece of debris? *frowns*
(3. Did Rose marry and have babies with some nameless guyy just to fulfill her promiseee?? o.O I mean, at the end her spirit goes whoosshhh to Jack........so she mustn't have cared much for her poor new hubbie.....XDD
Rose: *strolling on the street.......spots random guy* OHH!!! You'll do!! Marry me and have babies will you?? o.O *me confuzzled* XPP
