long time ago, a brilliant scientist devised an experiment. He put a cat in a box with trace amounts of a highly radioactive substance. He closed the lid. When he opened the lid a few minutes later, the cat was dead. The debate is: when the box is closed, was the cat dead from the radioactivity? Or was it alive, and the sudden intake of air and light killed it? You never know what happens when the box is closed, because opening it ends the experiment.

So the quest question is is the cat dead or alive.

Elizabeth Thompson (elizabeth_duivenvoorde) I think it died in the box.

Elizabeth Thompson (elizabeth_duivenvoorde) Ya, but what if the cat died from lack of air?
It was not specified if there were holes in the box, and if there were holes then light could get in and that would make seance if it died when the box was opened

Yeah that would make sence or maybe it got frigtenented or something and had a heartattack.
(By the way i find this experiment kinda cruel.)

Elizabeth Thompson (elizabeth_duivenvoorde) (Same, poor kitty)
True, but cats have good hearing. So, unless the box was sound proof, the cat would hear them coming and it wouldn't be as frightening.

It might be even more frightened if it heard something.
