Jax and his brother, Quin, entered the park with an unhurried pace. Quin was just behind Jax who was staring at nothing. He noticed that if they left, things will only get worse so in that moment he then decided to make a spell that would erase all of Jax's memories of ever coming in Dagger Hills.
His left hand glowed with dark magic as he uttered the spell under his breath, jam tibi impero et praecipio maligne spirutus! Ut confestem allata abesque omni strepito torre clamore et foetote asque sine omni damno mei tam animae quam corporis. His hand shot out to lay on Jax's shoulder. "I'm sorry, brother."
Jax felt something that pulled his mind to the dark and the pain that went it was a blessing to the torture of ever leaving Vee behind. His last thought was, I love you, Vee.
Quin was already there when Jax's limp body feel. He quickly carried him in fireman's style in one hand. The other he squatted down to get his brother's bag. With no effort at all, he turned around and made his way back to the mansion.

Lucian looked around as he stepped into the park with Lea, he hadn't been there in months and he realized suddenly that he'd missed it. "So...why were you heading here anyway?" He asked curiously.
"No reason at all, I just want to see green grass for a change," she answered as she slipped her arm from his. She went under a tree and laid under it and sighed, "I missed this, the feeling of being a child." She whispered to him as he settled beside her.
He went and sat down beside her, picking at the grass as he looked down at her. "You used to come here alot when you were younger?" He asked curiously, she intrigued him in a way no one had before.
She shook her head, "From my home in Oklahoma, there was this park that I always come to. I remembered the butterflies I played with and most especially the grass and the sky. It's the best times when I'm all alone," she said and she was surprised that she even told him. She looked at him as she laid her hands on her stomach. "How about you? What do you remember when you're a child?"
"Hiding. Lots of hiding and sneaking around. When I lived with my parents my dad and I made a game of it. I almost always won." He smiled slightly and shook his head slightly. "But I think you're memory of the park is probably much better then mine."
She really liked how Lucian's eyes seem to brighten when he smiles so she smiled back at him and said, "It's before my magic manifested was that time, Lucian. After that...I never went back." She looked at the leaves on the tree and sighed remorsefully.
"Do you have serious troubles when your powers manifested?" He asked her with a small frown. "I know it's a common thing."
She nodded and she just watched as the sunlight pierced through the leaves, "I did. When I was at that park one day...my magic manifested and I burned 3 friends of mine. Not too serious but my mother thought me as a freak ever since," she whispered matter-of-factly.
"Your mother want just human wasn't she?" He asked softly as he watched her, she looked beautiful with the streams of sunlight dancing over her body."
She nodded and she let a tear fell. She wiped it with the back of her hand, "Yes she did but when I met Jax, it changed." She hurt by just saying his name but she needed to share it with someone and Lucian was a friend now.
He watched the sadness rise up in her and frowned slightly with concern. "Who's Jax? Your boyfriend?" He asked softly, cautious again.
She chuckled and imagined Jax as her boyfriend, "No, Lucian. He's just a close friend who I think of as a dear brother so don't worry," she looked at him and that's when she realized that they were inches apart from one another.
He nodded and blushed slightly, embarrassed by his own nosiness. "Oh...okay. Sorry. I didn't mean to pry." He realised their closeness and shifted back slightly.
She smiled as she brought her left hand to her forehead, "No, it's okay. It's just that you're no the first one to think it is so." She looked away and focused on how the light played with the dust motes in the air.
He nodded and watched her as he continued to pick at the grass, keeping his hands busy to hide his nervousness. "Oh, okay. Well if you're so close I guess it's a normal deduction from people on the outside."
She shrugged as she let her hands reach to the sky. She really missed the park where she went to as a kid but this place was almost alike that she felt some of her melancholy fade. "Lucian? I know this may sound strange but how come you don't have a girlfriend yet?" She truly was mystified that a guy like him would still be single.
"I don't really hang out with many girl honestly, and not many show interest in hanging out with me. I'm kinda that loner kid who sits in the back of the class and hides from everyone." He told her softly, looking down at his hands as he spoke.
She stopped looking at the sun as his words penetrated to her mind. She sat up and turned to him. Laying her hands on his shoulders she watch his eyes deeply, "Lucian, I don't believe by what you said. If you were a loner kid you wouldn't be talking to me, would you?" She asked as she tightened her hold to show that she understands him.
He looked into her eyes and flushed slightly. "You're the exception I guess. I've never really talked to anyone, like I feel I can talk to you." He rubbed his hands on his thighs.
She smiled as she gave his shoulders one last squeeze before letting go, "I'm flattered but I know that there are people who are willing to talk to you if you just let them," she whispered as she remembered how Jax had talked to her when they had first met and she smiled in remembrance.
He ran his fingers through his hair. "Well I usual find that books are better companions. Full of new knowledge and they can't break your heart or ruin your life." He murmured as he looked down again after seeing the smile he knew wasn't anything to do with him.
She shook the memory away so that she can look at Lucian, "Me too. I usually do a lot of thrillers and horrors." She admitted with a sheepish grin. She liked how comfortable she was with him and she wished that she could talk to him all day.
"I read pretty much anything and everything that I can get my hands on. My Uncle has a library in his home and I've read every book that was in it when I came to live with him and have added more over the years." He smiled slightly, he was proud of himself.
She was glad that he was sharing these things with her so she couldn't help but say, "Why, Lucian? Are you bragging?" She made a fainting dramatic pose as she lay on the grass slowly, "I can't take it on how smart you are, I just can't take it." She closed her eyes and in a few seconds she opened them to see his bewildered expression. "Was I good?" She asked.
He watched her with bewilderment and curiosity, she was strange but in all the best ways. "You're a very good actress. You should do it all the time, make millions!" He grinned at her sweetly.
Lea preened at the compliment exaggeratedly, "Thank you, Lucian," she whispered as she looked at him with new eyes. He was a handsome guy under the shaggy hair and the clothing that ill-fitted him and he had this shyness about him that made her like him even more. Clearing her throat, she stood up and held out a hand. "Let's explore the park."
He took her hand gently and stood up beside her, brushing off his pants and straightening his shirt as he did so. "Where would you like to go first?" He asked her softly.
"I don't know, Lucian. This is my first time here in this park," she admitted, not letting his hand go. She knew that they were friends and that she had no right
holding him like this but it felt...good for a change. "Let's take a chance, shall we?" she said as she led them to the left pathway where roses are blooming.

Lea felt her phone vibrating in her pocket but she ignored since she was having a good time with Lucian and she deserved this after Jax had left Dagger Hills. Walking to the roses she said, "How they pretty they are," closing her eyes as she inhaled their fragrance.
He smiled and ran his fingers over the petals of one of the flowers. "Almost as beautiful as you right?" He smiled sheepishly as he said it, attempting to joke around with her as the wandered through the park. "I've always been intrigued by flowers. So delicate yet so important." He murmured as an afterthought.
She was stunned that Lucian had gave her a compliment as she opened he eyes, "You're not bad in the looks department." Grinning as she saw his face redden up. It was a breath of fresh air to have him around, all the other guys were so testosterone-filled that sometimes she was chocking full of it.
He blushed and bit his lip gently as he let go of the flower he had been examining. "Well I'm glad you think so." He smiled slightly as they wandered along, she made him want to be daring.
She didn't say anything because there were no words left to be said. As they walked she couldn't help but lift her face to the heat of the sun. It was refreshing to have it on her face again and she slipped her hand from Lucian's so that she could raise it up high like she had done when they were under the tree earlier.
He watched her as he slid his hands into his pockets again, she obviously enjoyed being in the sun and she looked beautiful in it. He glanced around as she stood in the sun, it was a beautiful be he kind of wished hed been here before.
After several minutes of just standing still she turned to look at Lucian with a smile, "Why don't you try it, Lucian?"
Lea sighed dramatically, "Look at the sun, silly. What else?" She asked with a lift of an eyebrow.
He blushed and smiled. "Right." He stepped forward, moving completely out of the shadows and turning his face up towards the sun, he sighed softly and took a deep breath.
Even though she was just joking around, her breath caught as she watched his face. She shouldn't be like this but...wow. Just wow. Hss shaggy hair that had hid his face up until now was bared. He had a features of a god and no she was not exaggerating a bit. She should feel a little guilty that the face of Hunter jumped into her mind and she held a hand to her face so that Lucian wouldn't see the emotion she has on. Regret.
He sighed softly and looked down again, his hair falling back over his face as he did so, he glanced at her and frowned slightly. "Are you okay?" He asked softly. As he looked at her, she was seemingly flickering from memories and emotions.
Letting her hand fall to her side, "I'm fine," she said a little bit shakily. She didn't want to be like this, all weak and vulnerable but...it was just too painful not to have someone like Hunter by her side. "Scratch that, I'm totally not fine." She said as she turned to look at him.
He looked at her with a slight amount of sympathy. "Do you want to talk about it or just walk some more?" He asked softly, he didn't want to push her if she didn't feel comfortable talking to him about the personal things hat were obviously troubling her.
She thought it for a moment and she nodded, "If you don't mind me talking while we walk," she whispered as she looped her arm with his.
He nodded and began walking through the park again, he enjoyed her company even if she needed the silence.
She waited until they were walking for about 5 minutes before starting, "I have relationship issues," she let that sink in and when he looked at her and just nodded she continued, "I've been always cautious not to get too close with guys and it's not because I'm not attracted it's just...to complicated." How ironic, here she was saying one of her deepest secrets to a new, male friend but she needed to get it off her chest.
He nodded slightly as he listened. "I guess I understand in a way, like...avoiding people will stop things being complicated right?"
Lea nodded as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "I guess so but do you find yourself worrying if that person you like will hate you when he gets to know you truly are?" She asked before sighing.
