I was wandering if anyone had heard about the movie their making from Rangers apprentice? I think their going to start shooting it next year sometime. Has anyone heard anything elts?

i heard bout it its getting filmed this year should be out 2010 or 2011 apparently jonas armstrong (from robin hood) is playing Will and he is like 30 i think that is silly

i know i think my friend Toby should play will they are pretty much twins plus he knows the books off by heart and is exactly the same as will is described

Yeah they do. I thought of legolas-arrow-style when i imagined what they'd do. Jonas Armstrong would acually make a really good Will if he were 15 years younger.

but he already played robin hood. rangers have to be special.

Thats what I've read. And I have to agree...they need to find someone besides Armstrong he already played someone kind of like a ranger. It just would not be very neat for him to be in the movie. So who do you guys think should play the part? Or for anyone in the book.

hmmm... i don't know. but i think it would be best if it was someone no one knew. a breakout star, so i'd be thinking hey that's will! instead of isn't that the guy in...

they reuse child stars too much.

but i thought jeremy irons the guy that played brom in eragon really didn't seem like he'd be brom (brom's got a really long beard)

but i think he'd be a super cool halt.

he's a little old, he could be a senior ranger. i don't think he'd fit as hald or crowly though and i don't think he'd want a minor role maybe the crippled musician ranger in the 5th book.

anyone ever wonder why halts not commander?

i think halt's not commander because he's so good that nobody want's him to waste his time doing all the paperwork and stuff when he could be doing more important ranger things

I was actually thinking Matthew Fox would make a good Halt, don't you think? He'd have to grow a beard though, lol.

Holy flip! They're making a movie? Wait, this was all like three years ago, so the movie would be out yet. Gah! I can already see them screwing everything up, especially the ranger cloaks.

I know I'm speaking to an empty room, but I'm going to inform my imaginary friends that there has been a budget cut, and there are roumors that it'll come out this year. Now I'm excited! I want to see it, even if I do only end up making fun of it.

It definitely comes out so,stile in 2016 I know that for sure. The reason it got delayed so long is because of budget issues.
