Kylie was leaving to the surf shop. They also sold long boarding gear there and she wanted to see about getting a new pair of bear trucks. Her's were pretty scraped up, and she just needs a new pair. She's had them for a while so it's pretty justified. It isn't one of rich girl things where it's only like a week old. She had on typical attire. A pair of denim shorts a light blue shirt and of course her favorite pair of Ray Bans were on her head like a headband. Kylie isn't one of those people who wears sunglasses inside. That's just a douchebag thing. Just. No.
Halfway across the lobby she spotted Elliot. She wasn't best friends with him or even friends but they had a few classes together over the few years she's been at Kale and he hasn't been anything but sweet.
"Hey Elliot." Kylie called in a simple greeting and flashed a smile towards him.
((I love you obsession of sorts over sunglasses. :P ))
Elliot was on the couch with his guitar in his lap, not really playing. He was more zoned out than anything. He had recently had a flashback of sorts. It was one he had seen before. It wasn't exactly a flashback as it was an image appearing before him. The image of an older woman who looked very similar to the girls he had seen in other flashbacks. He assumed the woman was his mother. She looked like him. At least from the mental image he remembered, which wasn't a whole lot to go on but it was something. Some kind of clue to who he was.
Elliot heard his voice from nearby, pulling him out of his thoughts. He turned to see it was Kylie. "Hello, Kylie." He said with a smile, hands moving from the chords of his guitar.

"So, what's up?" Kylie asked making simple conversation. She wouldn't mind if this conversation turned into like a thirty minute one. She liked talking to people and catching up. You never know; maybe the person you just totally dissed would have been your best friend because you found out that you had something in common. Or maybe it's just because Kylie absolutely loves talking to people. Besides it wasn't like she had to be at the surf shop this instant. She doubted they would sell out of the trucks she wanted just because she didn't get there at opening. Even if someone did buy them before she got there she wouldn't throw a hissy fit like some people at Kale do. It's incredibly embarrassing and childish.

It is an area where both genders can mingle, but be aware--the House-Head's room is just to the side.
There is a large TV and a couple couches, it's set up like a comfortable arcade.
