Mal (malxox) Clarice – with her slim white tennis shoes, high waisted red shorts, and striped blue and white t-shirt – hurried down the hall, turning the opposite corner of the rough-around-the-edges tomboy. It took her a moment to find her locker as she wasn’t used to everything around here quite yet having come from a very, very different institute elsewhere previously. However she found it nonetheless, in which it so happened was just off the other girls. Which seemed ironic considering the blonde was such a short thing. In fact she stood on her tip toes in order to make sure she was hitting all the correct numbers through the combination. Oh well. Tugging open the locker with a soft look of success upon her face she dumped her unneeded items in there with the rest, tugging her hair back into a high fisted pony and peering down to make sure she wasn’t getting into the other girls way.

Mal (malxox) Clarice looked over at her, hand resting against the side of the locker with a friendly little laugh. Well it was true, schools always seemed to stick you right next to someone, or above, or below, but never separated you out even though there were plenty lockers to go around. It got a bit squished but she didn’t complain, what was she going to do if she did anyway, right? “Sure,” she answered her, holding her free hand out palm up, “That’s nice of you.” She added with a smile. Curling her fingers around the strip of gum she edged her locker closed and popped it into her mouth in return, feeling the cool sensation instantly hit her taste buds. Knotting the silver wrapping up into a small ball she pocketed it and held out her hand in greeting. “I’m Clarice by the way, nice to meet you.”

message 4: by Mal (new)

Mal (malxox) Clarice leaned against the lockers, linking her hands against her back fittingly. "Oh I'm new." She answered, smiling back as she quietly chewed her gum. "I transferred out of my old school and my ... Well my parents put in this one." She answered with a little shrug of her shoulders. Honestly she was sort of glad Ace had asked rather than just looked at her and figured she must be new. Because apparently Tyson said that she stood out like a sore thumb, or he was just a really good observer. That must be it. But with that thought set aside she blinked back out of her thoughts. "Have you been here more than one year?" She asked in return though something told her that Ace wasn't new like herself.

message 5: by Mal (new)

Mal (malxox) Clarice blinked but then her eyes lit up - Ace was new too! Call her crazy but that was actually really comforting, it's how friendly she seemed to be, and even the evident quirks and her very ungirly demeanor the blonde really didn't mind. It was simply fate that they'd met. Well more or less. Basically she was happy. "Firsties together." She repeated happily, leaning more heavily against the lockers only because if was her getting comfortable. "Oh and team purple, but I don't know about you ... I mean I don't really understand why we have to be segregated. At the dance there were a few people that seemed super into the idea, but I can't really figure out why it's so important." She blabbered on, finally slowing her words down and siding both hands into her back pockets. She didn't need to be gabbing about the school she would be going to for the next three years, especially if Ace actually liked the idea.

message 6: by Mal (new)

Mal (malxox) “Well it just doesn’t make sense why they hate each other so much. Like each team I mean.” Clarice made a face at the ground past Ace, shifting so her back was leaning up against the cold lockets, leaning her head back a little as her fingers fiddled in and out of knots. It was like the million dollar question; like asking why Romeo must hate Juliet. The story made sense but the roadblock was neglected and you could sit there and ponder for ages. Not noticing the smirk until she looked up from her feet she gave a sheepish smile in his return, “But anyway, I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking that. I was starting to feel really … outcasty? Is that even a word.” She thought about it a second though it was obvious she was simply making up words to fill in her blanks, like madlibs.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Walking into the locker commons area, Vivian paused, stopping at the entry way as she sent off the text on her phone before putting it in her pocket and then heading more into the area and leaning against the wall. Arms crossed over her chest loosely, foot flat against the wall so she was leaning on it comfortably she waited for the appearance of her ginger haired best friend. After all since Vivian had left the dance early, she had been asleep when Lydia got back to the dorm, not to mention that Vivian had left early that morning for her 'run'. So this was the first time that she would be able to find out more about the whole Stilinski and Lydia interaction. No doubt it was going to be something interesting.

Lydia had been walking to her first class when Vivian texted, and of course she didn't mind skipping it to talk to her friend. Even if she could guess what the conversation was going to be about... blehck. No matter what though, she would be there for Vivian at the snap of her manicured fingers. Besides, nobody liked Consumer Math anyways. Nobody liked any kind of math period. Not to mention she was bound to have the same classes as Stiles--so she was all to eager to show up late, as to avoid sitting by him. He wouldn't know the order of the seats in classes--Black Gavels in the back to the left. So there.

The only problem Lydia had with the lockeroom was it smelt like disgusting socks. Girls seriously needed to keep up with their hygiene, no place should smell like this. Though catching sight of Vivian in the corner made things a little more tolerable. "Hey sweet thang, I'm here, as requested. I would have woken you up, but you looked like a zombie doll, so I let you rest." she greeted her friend.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay At the sight of her friend rounding the corner, Vivian pushed away from the wall slightly and smiled cheerfully at Lydia. She wasn't offended at all by what Lydia said. Coming from anyone else? Vivian's mood would've taken a turn for the worse, but with Lydia? Hell it was the truth. Vivian was not a pretty sleeper. She wasn't ashamed of that little fact. "Ahh yes, well I didn't get to run into a lovely boy from my past at the dance. Did you enjoy your present?"

Vivian really didn't like ditching class, it may have been part of the fact that she was a nerd, but she didn't enjoy missing her classes. She did, because c'mon shoe sales were far more important. But still, missing class wasn't something she enjoyed, mostly because then when she got to class again the teachers felt like they had the right to drill her on the information. As if she wouldn't know it. She'd spent many nights studying. Lydia would no doubt soon be annoyed with her habit of pulling all-nighters. Oh well. This gossip was going to be good, and all the worth of ditching her class.

"If you were anyone else, I would consider shoving you into those lockers and slamming your head right into the metal." she replied evenly, a slight scowl dominating her features. Of course it didn't last, Lydia just ran a hand through her hair and her smile was back. She couldn't ever stay mad at Vivian, the girl practically owned her. They owned each other though, it was mutual, the way they fucked with each other and loved it a couple days later. "In case that wasn't an indication, no. I don't like surprises, you know that. That was pretty rude of you not to tell me. You texted under false pretenses."

She glanced through the lockeroom as she walked, making sure it was empty. Lydia never talked serious dirt unless she was in the comfort of her room. The walls had ears in Kale, so you had to be careful. Now even more so, since she was President. She had a target on her head, and maybe even a neon sign--blinking the words "Kill Me"--it was quite lovely. Of course Lydia had never had a problem dealing with attention, she just had to figure how to use it to her advantage. "How was your night? I heard you talked to Roland."

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay "Good thing I'm not anyone else then, as I rather enjoy being me." Shrugging slightly Vivian knew Lydia wasn't a fan of surprises, but she also knew Lydia wasn't a fan of the past. Which was why she had to introduce Stiles. Best to get all the awkward or the revival of a friendship done at the dance rather than in a classroom. Classrooms were doomed to make almost anything terrible. "The interaction can't have gone bad, or else I would've heard something about it through the links of gossip by now." That was the truth, if things had gone bad between Lydia and Stilinski, then there would be gossip floating about the two of them all over the school. So far it seemed hardly anyone knew about the encounter or if they did, they didn't care.

Even with Lydia being President it wasn't like anyone could use the kid against Lydia. So what if she had a friend from her past attending the school now? It wasn't anything dramatic. Leave it to Kale though to make it dramatic. "And I only talked to Roland for your little rendezvous. He only talked to me to get a hold of you." Although there was one interesting part of her night, Vivian wasn't going to divulge that information until she was certain that the rumor she heard was truth.

Lydia shrugged, smoothing palms along her shorts. Wow. News didn't travel so fast then? for some reason, Roland had decided to keep his mouth shut. Nice. She couldn't be sure for how long though, especially when everything got thrown together in the clusterfuck that was bound to happen once they were all in the same place. Roland probably couldn't wait to throw this Stiles thing in her face--just because he didn't plan to tell anyone, didn't mean he wasn't going to use it for his own personal gain.

"Well, he's still your biggest fan, so he probably didn't mind pulling you into the mix." she replied, meeting Vivian's eyes with a fleeting smirk as the words passed her lips. "As for the lovely surprise present I was gifted... he's fine, I just have to learn how to deal with him. Once I do that, I'll be able to ignore him until he takes a hint. But there's a new involvement... there's this little brat freshman-" she wrinkled her nose, remembering her with distaste, "She's not loyal, and she snotty-mouthed me in front of another team. She even went as far as to threaten us with her mad-pro-shit-ass-kicking-skills... Her name... started with an S... Stacy? Something like that. Initiations gonna' suck for her though, I'll see to it."

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Reaching up with her hand she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, getting the strand out of her face as she listened to Lydia talk. At the mention of some new meat with the nerve to start trashing her team-mates well that was completely unacceptable. "Well you know....if she's so keen to join other teams and ignore her loyalties then perhaps she isn't fit to be a gavel." Scoffing slightly she wrinkled her nose in disgust. It seemed that the newbies to the team got more and more annoying every year and there was no way that she was going to let the gavels lose their trophy. Vivian liked winning.

As for the comment on Roland well they both knew that Roland was quite the pain. Especially when he had information on you that he could use. Unfortunately for Lydia it seemed that Roland was pretty buddy-buddy with Stiles. Which would mean that if there was anything embarrassing that Stiles knew....well it might soon be something that Roland knew. That would be bad for Lydia and as a result, well Vivian wouldn't let Lydia deal with Roland's taunts by herself. Not that Lydia couldn't handle it, but Vivian would always be there to back up Lydia. Chipping the polish off of her pointer nail as she waited for the other girl to speak about this Stacy? chick.

Sighing, Lydia sat down on one of the benches. Sure, it probably wasn't sanitary, but she was tired. And the last thing she wanted to do was over exhaust herself, then her hair would get frizzy and just no. She had worked to hard to crumble into pieces, and over something as simple as Stiles handing her books in the hallway? No. She would talk to him, and just... get it all over with.

"What do you propose we do? Call a meeting? We need to plan things for the initiation anyways. We haven't even deiced on a game plan... like what we want to do, you know?" she let her eyes carry over to Vivian, and she smiled. "You're missing class. You hate missing class. Why are you so sweet to me?" she laughed, not realizing she had completely shifted topics.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay "Actually," Buffing her nails against her thigh and against the pair of leggings she was wearing she smiled as she looked up at Lydia, "You have to call a meeting to plan initiation. I'm not on Student Council." Shrugging her shoulders in an 'oh, well' sort of way. Not that she wasn't the kind of girl who would always be there for Lydia, but when it came to Student Council stuff, well Vivian hadn't joined the Council for a reason. Too much work.

At Lydia's sudden change in topic, well Vivian was quite used to that. It wasn't often that she stopped Lydia from doing it and since Lydia dealt with the way Vivian's mood could flip like a switch it was only natural she handled Lydia's topic changes. "You're my best friend, Lydia. I love you enough to ditch class, but not enough to help you with initiation grunt work. Sorry." Shrugging and smiling in a sort of sarcastic apologetic way. "So this Stilinski guy.........is he friend status or act like he doesn't exist status?"

Well then. People outside of student counsel did initiation all of the time... hell, people on student counsel didn't like getting their hands dirty. Lydia was actually one of the only ones that actually liked participating in the bad jobs. But what ever, that was not the point. If Vivian would rather sleep at 3AM than deal with first years, she would accept that. Right? Right. She didn't like it though. Lydia would much rather have Vivian on her side than Serenity... meh...

Lydia stood, sensing the conversation was almost over. First bell had probably already rung, so they were both late to first period. She pursed her lips, checking her appearance in the mirror before she excited the lockeroom. "I would say ignore him, but I'm not so sure he'll let me. But we're not friends." she shrugged, deciding it wouldn't matter. But really, was that something you could dictate? She would just have to see.

( ˘ ³˘)♥ Jay Vivian nodded and pulling her bag up from the crook of her elbow up onto her shoulder she ran a hand through her hair as she spoke. "Sorry about not wanting to do initiation." Shrugging she pursed her lips and ran her tongue over them before listening to Lydia review on Stilinski. Well if the girl didn't really have an answer as to how to deal with Stilinski, well then Vivian would just have to deal with the guy due to his first impression. As a hardly worth her time guy. After that she gave a slight wave over her shoulder before heading off towards her next class.
