This is a most amazing book for any age group. I learned so much about mountain climbing but more importantly about the human spirit and its ability to persevere. The main characters were realistically presented and inspiring.

I agree. I liked the movie also. Both were very inspiring. I found the book scary in one part, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
