I took a look at your 'want to read list' and saw that Thunder of Valmy by Geoffrey Trease was listed.

The US title for that book was Victory at Valmy - and I reviewed this book (same book!). I posted my viewed on both titles.

I would really, recommend this book to you. If you like historical fiction, this one is a real treat!
