TWILIGHT HATERS discussion

I had been wondering where one of the mods; Mallie, left to since she wasn't in the list of mods anymore.

I tracked her down and found this last comment she placed in this group.

MALLIE:

You know, honestly, it's embarrassing to be classified with this group now. No offense to Khloe, as she hasn't posted in ages, but you guys are so... arrogant. You're fully convinced that you're so much better than the Twilight fans, that you're to the point of ruthless, merciless comments. It's pathetic to read. Some how, we've gone from critiquing Twilight in a semi-friendly, funny way, to berating anyone who says Twilight is a decent piece of literature (or anything nicer than Twilight being of the Devil), and it's just... I can't even conjure up a word pitiful enough for it.

Honestly, I think that not many of you remember me, because I've been mortified at the thought of associating myself with any of you for the past few months, that I haven't posted anything. Finally, I was prompted to by some of the highly offensive comments, and - honestly - I'm fed up with it (for lack of a more tact way to put it). So, with that, ciao. I'm leaving. I realised that we have been mean- well I already realised this ages ago. That's one of the reasons why I don't make any really harsh comments on twilight now.

I am not saying that I love Twilight now, I'm just saying that Mallie's right.

I don't know what you guys think of what she said, but it is in my belief that Mallie and I are seeing the same thing now.

I have lost touch with this group ever since I have recieved that Epiphany.

I talked to Mallie about this comment of hers and asked her if she thought my creations were harsh. She said that it was my creation that made her laugh and had fun.

I'm not leaving the way she did. I'd still be a mod here but I doubt I'd be paying much attention here anymore. The only reason I'm not deleting my membership from this group is to keep track of my friends here so I could tell them where to find me.

I have messaged a few of you, telling you where to find me and join others who have seen the same thing Mallie and I saw.

With this... I bid you all adieu.

I just hope you guys won't get too far to the point that you will all get into BIG trouble.

Rain, I know that some of us hit below the belt. And that some of us are actually posers. It takes a lot to notice who actually can critique properly and those that just say "It sucks." and "Twitards are so stupid."

I just hope that you don't forget those who were mature and intellectual in this group and go right to generalizing that all Twilight haters are just condescending. Because if you do, you're no better than them.

Also, I suggest you toughen up. In the real world, there are critics out there who know how to critique work excellently, but can be incredibly cruel. Trust me, I've been under their mercy.

We are kinda mean sometimes.... I hope I haven't been to cruel! I guess I just needed a place to let out all of my twilight-hating emotions, and this seemed like a good place. If I've offended anyone, I'm truly sorry.

I have to admit.. This group was great, and still is.
But some of the people have taken this a little too far..

I mean, we all hate it when a twilight fan comes in here and says "you hate twilight? you guys are idiots!"

And the sad, sad truth is.. We've turned into that. The goal for us was to be a Twilight - Hating group,
but we were supposed to be mature and dignified about it. And well...It's not the same as it used to be...

Rain is right. Even though we all agree that Twilight is not close to the greatest things in the world, we have been a little harsh and rude to the ones who try to live and breathe Twilight. But when the Twi-hards come trying to force us to be like Twilight or bow down to it, then we kick their butts. I'm sorry if you don't like what I'm saying, but that is what I would do if I wanted to survive.

... im rude in general... *sigh* and now im thinking really hard about this... may be ive been a little too rude while hating on twilight...
