So far this summer, my favorite read has been Ghost Soldiers: The Epic Account of World War II's Greatest Rescue Mission. It's an exciting story of a mission to rescue American and Allied POWs in WWII from a Japanese prison camp in the Phillipines. A very interesting piece of history.

Child of Mine by David and Beverly Lewis. I love Amish Fiction, and Beverly Lewis is a favorite. I was excited by her collaboration with her husband David Lewis, their last book Sanctuary was a long time ago. Beverly came to the library a few years ago on a book tour and I got to meet her.
